So I was recently reading the Sargeras article on wowwiki and it described his armour after his corruption as "He is fully clad in a burning suit of molten, black armor." That sounds really familiar to me...... oh wait it should, after all Deathwing is described as the same.
After his fall from the Warder into the Destroyer, when he used the power of the Demon Soul on his fellow dragon's, his skin is described as bursting open and molten lava pours out, between the plates of Adamantitum (spelling) he had forged to his body.
I find it strange that two of the big bad's of the Warcraft universe are described as having the same features, kinda wonder if Blizzard did that intentionally, to draw a line of corruption or if they just got lazy and decided to cut and paste heh.

It could be that they're likening the evil of Sargeras to that of Deathwing through the imagery. But then again, it's a good little slice of visual effect, when you've got something good, roll with it. I'm surprised Arthas isn't clad in the same get-up.

Well, it seems like that a major way to describe "corruption" or "evilness" it to show the evilness on the outside of the body, and a way to do that is to include molten lava, black plates/armor, and some other ugly features.

Eh, I just find it interesting that their both "bleeding" molten lava, deathwing literally, sargeras having it on his armour is all.

Who knows. Perhaps Deathwing could be a manifestation or an avatar of Sargeras.
But then again, Deathwing smokes hookah's atop piles of Arabian architecture, and gold in a cave, while blowing puffs of smoke to make skulls.
