I'm nearing 80 with my first character a Tauren Warrior. I love the warrior class and plan on jumping into raiding as soon as I am 80 and geared well enough. However in my downtime I really want to level an alt to 80 also. I'm looking for a class to hybrid between ranged magic damage and a healing dual spec. The two classes I'm looking at are a Troll Shaman or a Tauren Druid.
I cannot decide which to do. How do these two classes interact at level 80 and which would fit my want of a magic damage/healing raider? Is Boomkin/Elemental not a valid spec at level 80?
I cannot decide between to two! Help!

I've leveled a warrior so far nothing can be more boring/grind then that I swear I feel like everyone else kills mobs 4xs as fast.[

Don't dismiss a Priest. Could be interesting to go from Plate all the way down to Cloth.

All I forsaw for her raiding future was a series of Lightning Bolts sprinkled with some fire DoTs.
Don't listen to this. Since that time, Elemental Shamans have gotten a
brand new spell!
Despite my sarcasm, I have a level 80 elemental shaman that I enjoy. I don't play resto though (my main is a holy paladin, so I didn't bother) but I heard resto is getting buffed a bit in 3.2.

Well, be glad.
If you could get a Warrior to 80, no other class should even get close to being a challenge to level.
