Im thinking Wound/Instant is best. As instant does more but to get 20% extra mutilate damage u need to have a poison on which you can get from Wound.
Deadly doesnt seem worth it as mobs will die too fast.
Is this right? Thx

Wound/wound. Deadly isn't worth it and instant doesn't leave a debuff. Using wound also means you can skip improved poisons in favor of talents like fleet footed/quick recovery.

Instant/Deadly if you think Envenom deals Significent damage compared against (deadly poison wont deal much of its damage before the mob is dead)
instant/Wound (still 20% mutilate damage from Wound poison) and Eviserate instead of Envenom

Heck, even at 80 I switch into the 41/5/25 pvp sec and use wound/wound for grinding quests. Mobs don't live long enough for the 20% (30% talented) application of instant poison to be worth it.

Instant / Wound is better with 5/5 Improved Poisons
Recount showed that my level 51 Mutilate rogue Over the course of 20-30 Mobs My recount showed this.. -->

And this is when Instant was lvl 44 and Wound 48. (this could change with Wotlk) but before that Instant/wound is Superior for Mutilate with 5/5 Improved Poisons

Fleet Footed is Overrated in a leveling build since you spend minimum time running to another mob. While Quickrecovery is good.. It can be taken with Improved poisons in a build such as
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#fMxcoexoiboGz
(level 50 build)
Ruthlessness is good. but wont be used much since the mob dies to quickly. same with Eviserate, Its good but 20% to its damage for 3 points is not alot since its damage is being reduced by armor while Poisons is not.

Just tested and it seems wound/wound is best even with 5 in impoved poisons talent.

Wound is better. Higher PPM. Stop thinking otherwise...
