I have to agree - Recount is much more simpler to use, and although it doesn't look as nice, has everything you need to care for. But if you wish to stick with Skada, right click the main bar (where is says "Skada") and then select DPS. You may need to right click twice and switch between Overall and Current Fight.

Honestly I've found recount to not be very accurate. Alot of the time it will keep going after thi boss is dead for 5-6 seconds and drops all the dps and healing numbers by about 10%. I don't even bother with Skada or Recount anymore cause frankly they are both rubbish. If you want an actually acurate account of what you did, use World of Logs.

Recount does tend to be a resource hog, but the beauty of skada is the threat watching capabilities.
omen 3? but then again i rarely even look at omen unless there are tank switches (im a tank) since i never have problems holding threat from dps. especially on a single target raid boss

you telling me that on a 5-6 minute at least boss fight, that it will continue for 5-6 seconds afterwards and drop the dps by 10%... i have never seen this. it may continue for a couple seconds but if anything it drops the dps by a couple hundred max.
OT: i don't use skada as i use recount. i have never had any problems with it, nor have i noticed its a performance guzzler, and i have a pretty bad computer. as i have never used skada, follow the advice above. i would also say that if it is too complicated for you. go ahead and try recount, you may find it easier to use, and it shouldnt kill your performance too badly if you have any bit of somewhat of a decent computer.

Just telling you what I have seen when comparing the data of 10 peoples damage metres with each other and with WoL. Every single person in the group would get different results. Both Skada and Recount are just not accurate.
Incase you're wondering we also had 4 different people running logs, and comparing them on WoL they were all the same, so it is accurate, according to our little test.
