Added about 6 or so more reviews. If you haven't seen the list yet, the link is on the front page, or in Queggy's sig. I heartily suggest reading it.

There's a book I'd like to add.
It's "Summerland" by Michael Chabon. Probably one of my favorite books ever. It's sort of a kid's book, but I really liked it. It combines some Native American traditions with baseball and fantasy and stuff.
It's pretty amazing.

One book I'm really looking forward to reading soon is The Stand by Stephen King. I've heard so much about it and wanted to read it for a while, and I think I might be getting it soon.

Heh, that is one of his best works.... and read Under the Dome and Cell afterwards.

I didn't like Cell tbh, but my brother really did.
The Mist wasn't half bad, but it was kinda a formula book.

The Mist was just one of his short stories heh.... and the ending of the book was much better then the movie.... But Cell is an excellent take on the zombie genre. And Under the Dome... just wow, you need to read that book if you haven't; it's the size of the Stand and is a great isolation/end of the world(for those in the Dome) book.

I've read both Under the Dome and Cell, they're both quite good. The Mist I haven't got around to, but I've been meaning to. All I know is, the movie's ending was a MASSIVE Diabolus Ex Machina (evil version of a Deus Ex Machina for the non-tropers here).

The mist was good writing, but like I said it was a formula book.

Heh aye, I didn't like the ending... just because it was 'too clean' compared to the end of the book; I mean, it was all over at the end of the movie, and all hope was lost. In the book... not so much.

Heh again though, it was just a 'short' story(part of one of his anthology books).

Not sure if I mentioned this in the thread or not, but one of my current favorite online Zombie novels.

So I started reading the Night Angel trilogy.
The first book, "The Way of Shadows" is by far the best assassin book I've read.

I'm currently reading the Aubrey-Maturin series (just finished
HMS Surprise
) by Patrick O'Brian. They're excellent, if you have some knowledge of naval language and the Age of Sail.

So, finally got the 'Wizard for Hire' omnibus from the library yesterday. Wrapped up "Storm Front" earlier this evening... consider me a convert! Dresden is such a like-able character right from the start and the format of mixing Wizardry with investigator/consultant story lines seems to work really well.
I'm definitely anxious for more... These next two books won't last me long. :-)
Heh, only have to worry when you hit the last book lol... as it's a long wait till the next book.
