I have heard... stories about
Lolita
, and my curiosity was piqued. However my university's library doesn't have a copy, so I had to resort to the alternative; I read
this book
instead.
Suffice to say that the book leaves me horribly confused and depressed; is Humbert Humbert a good guy or bad? Should I be disgusted with Lolita? And I have to confess that the ending is incredibly sad for me.
Perhaps one of these days, I will read the original.

White Night down. Next up, Small Favor.
Are you reading the side stories too while reading the main books?

Just the main books, once I'm caught up to publication, I've got other books that need to be read.
Like the last half of the Dark Tower, and Mogworld, and The Mars Trilogy, and some Dragonlance, and some Forgotten Realms, and some Sword of Truth, and some Wheel of Time, and some...

Read Side Jobs!
A Restoration of Faith and Vignette come before Storm Front. Something Borrowed between Dead Beat and Proven Guilty. It's My Birthday Too and Heorot between White Night and Small Favor. Day Off, Backup, the Warrior(must read that one!) and Last Call between Small Favor and Turn Coat. Love Hurts between Turn Coat and Changes. And finally, Aftermath which takes place a few hours after Changes.
It's an anthology, so read it!

I'm going to be upset if my guess about the destination of
Fidelacchius
isn't what I'm expecting. As near as I can tell he's foreshadowed this every chance he got including at least one Chekhov's gun.

It's really blatantly obvious.

But there is a twist.

I figured as much. Setting up the foreshadowing from that early on is a little too involved for a red herring.

I might read the Percy Jackson series, since I'm a fan of Greek mythology. Is it any good, and is it similar to Harry Potter?

I do believe they are remotely similiar to the HP series, although it's been some time (and
alot
of books) since i read them, i remember them to be decent.

I'm a big fan of Wheel of Time and so as the ending comes near - Ive been looking for a similar series. I picked up the "Runelord" series by David Farland. Can anyone vouch this as a good series? I have read some reviews but I would like to get other opinions.

I recommend anything be Feist (The Riftwar, Serpentwar Saga etc). They're amazing fantasy novels. If you haven't read any, start with "Magician" (if you're in America you may need to start with "Magician: Apprentice" or some such title).
