Changes.
Heh, yeah. Read Side Jobs as Adamsm suggested. Also, you can read Chapter 1 of Ghost Story
here
if you're interested.

That didn't give me what I wanted to know. D:
And I'll wait until it comes out to start in on Ghost Story.

So I'm on book 4 of the Codex Alera, and so far it is amazing.

I guess I should start Book 1. Since I need to read something while I wait to find out what happens to our favorite wiseass wizard.

They're really good. Different than the Dresden style, but it's kind of refreshing reading a high fantasy not based on pseudo medieval Europe.

Hey, I've recently been thinking of Gilbert Morris'
House of Winslow
series. No, I'm not really a fan of Gilbert Morris (mainly because he's a
Christian writer
as opposed to a writer who is also Christian), but I read the first book a while back and it was pretty good. The series follows the Winslow family tree from the Mayflower to World War II.
I'm curious though, does anyone happen to know how historically accurate it is? It might be worth the read if it gave me greater insight into history, but if it gets more character based at the expense of detail of setting, there'd be no point in reading it.
I guess it's probably that none of you have read it, but it's worth a shot asking.

Just finished the
Dresden Files
(except for
Side Jobs
which I am on now). Before that I had chugged
The Name of the Wind
and
The Wise Man's Fear
. Before that, I think I was working through David Gemmell's
Drenai
series. I'd strongly recommend the Kingkiller Chronicle (The Name of the Wind + The Wise Man's Fear). I'd have some major troubles categorizing it under a single genre - it really best falls under a "story."
Here, let me attach something for those who are looking for a book to read:
linky
.

I believe "Gold Days" should be "Cold Days" under the Dresden Files.

Is it the %^&*!@ Jim version or the Slave Jim version?

Just started reading Dune. I've always meant to try it.
It's a very good book. It's a little hard to follow at parts, but definitely worth reading. Especially all the way through Hunters of Dune.

You've never read Dune or Dracula?
D:
I mean, I can kind of understand Dune . . . but Dracula?
