To celebrate the new Space Marine game, I've decided to finally get around to reading the Eisenhorn Omnibus that I have.

By the way, Funden - I went on a shopping spree the other day. My WH40K-novel count is now at 47.

I've read most of the Warhammer Fantasy books, but until now I never really ventured into the 40k realm. I still think I prefer the fantasy setting, but the whole mystique of the Imperium in 40k does really fascinate me.

While I really enjoyed
Matthias Thulmann: Witch Hunter
, the 40k fiction is just better, for me. It's more interesting and has more time/effort spent on it (since it's GW's cashcow =P).By the way, Funden - I went on a shopping spree the other day. My WH40K-novel count is now at 47.
*jealous*
I'm currently sitting at about 20.

I enjoyed the Gotrek and Felix series a lot.

I've heard those are really good as well, but I'm probably not going to read them until I finish the Horus Heresy series.

Which novel are you at right now?
I'm re-reading
Legion
at the moment, and since Alpha Legion is so damn awesome, I kind of consider it among the best WH40K-novels right now
^^

Urgh... I forget. I think I need to get the
Flight of the Eisenstien
next.

That's a pretty good one - lots of Warp-stuff going on in that one.

Finally got around to starting
American Gods

Given up on The White Plague for now. It's a very complex book, that either needs serious dedicated reading, or note-taking.
Going to re-read Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies, and try to read Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed.

I take it more as a thought experiment than an actual historical analysis.

I rather enjoyed it, and I liked the movie as well.

Should I read
Crown Duel
or the
Protector of the Small
series next?

Just finished
The Knife of Dreams
. Picked up towards the end.
Now II'll have to see what Sanderson has done with the series.

Still no opinion? You all need to read more books with strong female leads :) I'll do Crown Duel first because that's only a single book.
