Ok, so I have a 70 priest, with descent gear(almost 500 resil atm), and love playing against other 70's in AV. It makes me happy(a true twink).
However.... They only included 70 in AV, while all the others are 70-79 brackets.... Ugh.
With the exp being turned off, any opinions about whether there be an influx of level 70 PvP again?
AV is the only BG that currently has a good showing at 70, with WSG right behind it. I'ld like to get full brutal/guardian and sit him at 70(I don't need another 80 just yet, and I already have to finish gearing my paladin, and grind my warrior...).
I guess the difficulty of grinding 40 eots and AB marks makes the off set pieces more valuable atm, I'm just tired of getting hammered into mud by a 79 huntard and destro lock.

The twink 79 gear is vastly superior to tose epics. Having full frostsavage, new spell ranks and such, really gives them an incredible edge in the fight. I doubt the non-AV battlegrounds will experience an influx of 70 twinked pplayers, when 79 gear is vastly superior, easier to get, and they have all sorts of advantages - Hit cap is possible. You @70 will need absurd amounts of hit to cap against 79s.
Unfortunately, out of AV, i doubt you get lucky.

There are actually more level 70 players in those BG's than 79's.
Not to mention, twinking a level 79 should sound pretty retarded to anyone who isn't a total idiot.
Out of the numerous EotS's I did between friday and today, I've won 1. That's not even including the fact that the que takes 15-45 minutes.
It will be interesting to see if EotS, AB, and WSG will suddenly be mostly 70 after 3.2.

No, everyone who attempts to make their character the best under the level cap is a twink. You aren't gearing your character, you are twinking it. If I were to say "I'm gearing my rogue.", no one would think I'm talking about a level 19. If I were to say "I'm twinking my rogue.", everyone would know I'm talking about some level under 80, probably with a lot assuming 19 or 29.
It is a simple difference people use so they don't have to bother explaining if they are a normal player or a twink. If someone needs help gearing a character, I would tell them to run heroics. If someone needs help twinking a character, I would have to give them different advice.
