You could try Skada, but I don't think its as good as Recount.
I haven't really noticed memory issues with Recount though.

I know this is old, but chances are there if you see this, you can actually try out two other addons that are really good, the result of which can be so close to recount, it shows dmg/dps/healing/outhealing, TinyDPS, it is so lightweight, it uses 130kb only when not fighting, during fights it can go up to 300kb at max, ive seen it 400kb but not above, just reset the data, and its realy light if you ask me.
another option that is even lighter but doesn't give a very close result as experience, but its lighter than them all, and has few options is, Fiend Damage Meters, that addon shows dps/dmg/healing and it is around 40kb usage, goes up to 80kb , crazy light xD
try them both and gluck.

how can it be that emeral, the more pixels the worse it gets? larger numbers = more pixels = bad performance. CPU usage was merely as setback.

lol?
Anyhow, a meter that shows DPS but not damage done and no comparison to anyone else in the raid is worthless.

shameless self-promoting on a high level.

Skada can be fairly lightweight if you turn off all the meter modules you're not using like healing and deaths. You can't do that with recount.
And with any meters deleting the logs periodically through a run can help.

"lighweight", it still records during a fight therefore it uses CPU - more than mods graphics mods. But if those precious pixels showing on your "Addons active" tab are being a pain in the ass, don't use the mods. It's pointless to think that an addon with less memory would perform better, or help the computer.
