I am an 80 dranai and have like 102 hit rating. Everyone said you need 420 to be hit capped.
of course I see in the enh guide where they say you need roughly 1000 attack power (more is better), a 25% crit chance, and at least 120 hit rating.
so 420 to hit is 120 hit rating is that correct?
I have a hit rating of 102 and need 120 so I need at least 72 more +hit is that correct?
I do not see how I have 4 sockets I could put in +16 hit gems and changed boots and everything else I can think of change armor enchants for hit maybe?.
of course dropping yellow hit gems is going to be loosing on all the other stuff I need to socket.
============================
that is why if I change from crit to agility on something like leg armor could anything be gained this way?
which right now is killing me because I only have 18% crit and trying to get that up as well.
AHHHHHH curse you buzzard LOL

First off, don't worry about crit chance or attack power until you're hit capped. As you get good gear, you'll automatically get more attack power and crit. A link to your armory would be helpful for giving detailed recomendations, but in general:
Get hit gems. Gem yellow slots with pure hit, and red slots with a good socket bonus for hit/ap.
Enchants can be helpful. There's a hit enchant for wrists or hands and the ice walker enchant for boots. If you can afford the Accuracy enchant for your weapons, it adds a lot of hit. If not, a Titanium Weapon Chain is a good cheap substitute.
You can get some good gear with hit on it. The Sphere of Red Dragon's Blood from H Nexus is a good example.
Your goal is to reach 17% spell hit for raid bosses. Start with the easier heroics ( H UK, H Nex, H AN, H VH) and get some gear from there. If your dps is far behind the other members of your group, look at getting some gear crafted, look up some drops in regular lvl 80 dungeons (CoS, UP, Occ, HoL, HoS) and run those dungeons until you get the items you want. Get an add-on like recount so you can see how you're doing.

I am glad you mentioned weapon chain..I had forgotten about that and they are cheap.
Since I hope to replace the weapons I have (soon I hope) this would give me 28 hit on each weapon.
That and a couple of gems should put me over the top.
