Just wondering if you can remove portraits from units independent from one another. Meaning... can I have portraits on my Player and Target frames without having them on my Target of Target and Pet frames? If so... how?

Are you using pitbull 3 or 4? Not sure if it's the same in Pitbull 4, but in 3 it's just...
target's target --> Other --> Portrait --> Untick 'Enable'
Same goes for any other panel you want to do that with.

I'm not sure then. I don't use Pitbull 4.
Are you creating a separate layout for each frame? Ie. A layout for player frame, layout for target frame, so on and so forth? If not, do that. Then in each layout, go to Indicators --> Portrait --> Untick 'Enable'.
There might be a simpler way than making new layouts for each frame, but from a quick overview of pitbull 4, that's the only way I see.

I belive you need to enable 'portraits' in the modules tab
He knows how to enable portraits as a whole. His question was how to Enabled/Disable them for specific frames.

My fix should work as I just tried it.
Go to Layout Editor and make a new layout named Target's Target (for simplicity). Set up it up the way you want your target's target frame to look.
Now go to Units and select target's target for the current unit. Look where it says layout and select Target's Target from the drop down menu. (or whatever you named it). The target's target frame should now have the properties of the layout you assigned to it. Repeat for your pet frame and anything else you might need to adjust.

Thank you for this. This was actually the correct solution. The compilation I had already had layouts set up for each unit, I was unaware of this and just tried to modify each unit individually rather than modifying the layout. But... problem solved and actually, opened up more options and customizations that i wasnt aware of =)

by default the portrait background is white. I can go into a layout and change the background to black, but when i reload ui or target anyone the backgrounds all go back to white... any kind of explanation?
