I'm currently fiddling about with redesigning my hunter's build (and possibly her cat's) for the sake of endgame raiding. This isn't exactly my strong point, but I think I'm figuring things out. Bear with me, please, for I am willing to accept any advice more experienced hunters may wish to offer. The build strategies are as follows:
Current Talent Build
Potential Talent Build
What I Think My Cat Has
What My Cat Might Get
I understand that my primary DPS will by no means come from Fluffy. I'm giving the pet consideration because, well, I like my kitty (I'll wait while you finish the innuendos) and feel like she gives just a little more damage to the party, something I never frown upon.
I have also heard I should ditch Silencing Shot. I'm more than open for suggestions. Thanks much.
Oh, and sorry if I failed at posting.

This is me, works well, imo ditch the cat if you want the best buff from a pet.If you're looking to get the best buffs, a wolf will work best, Furious Howl is damn op. I specced for Barrage and Imp Barrage specifically to buff Aimed Shot, works quite well. Can't link any meter info, but I can say I'm far from dissapointed with this spec. It's the "cookie cutter" for the most part, if not bang on, but it's damn good dps, and works decently in pvp too. I skipped Silencing Shot purely for mana conservation.
Hope this helps, whatever it's worth.
Edit: Wild Quiver adds a fair percentage of dps according to Elitist Jerks, and as Im unsure of exact percentage oh how much of my own personal dps it accounts for, Im sure its worth more than Imp. Aspect Mastery would give, which, as far as I can tell, the above poster is specced for.

There's a bit of room for customization in an MM build, but you want something along the lines of
this.
I left 5 points there that can go in Improved Steady Shot, Improved Barrage, Focused Aim, Silencing Shot, or Improved Hunter's Mark. I would consider most of the rest to be mandatory with the exception of Improved Arcane Shot, and Barrage though i still highly recommend both unless you know what you are doing.
You don't want to ignore Barrage and Improved Barrage as they do more than just increase Volley damage. They also increase the damage and crit chance of Aimed Shot.
