Below is my character on Armory to show his gear and Spec:
Dedreckoning of Eredar
Hopefully this information will be helpful to other people.
My Rotation is:
DaD
Icy Touch
Plague Strike
Pestilance
Blood Boil
Scourge Strike
Use your Death Pact to Blood Boil again and then use the other ability that takes your runes off cd you should get a Pestilance and another DaD if the mobs last long enough.
Tip:
'Hunter' two-handers are l33t for Unholy Tanking as your going to be using Wandering Plague to produce aoe threat as much if not more than Blood Boil and since it is dependant on your crit rating to proc the agility on these weapons will increase your crit rating substantially since no piece of tank gear has crit rating and it will also increase both your ARMOR and your DODGE rating. And not only that but they generally have a crap load of Stamina on them and are more prone to have extra gem slots you can use to gem differently. Notice I have a +20 dodge gem in mine.
Tip:
Rune of the Stoneskin gargoyle is badness, I'll agree. But once your geared enough the 2% increase to stam doesn't really matter when your raid buffed. Other then that the only thing it gives you is a solid 25 Defense. You can gem for that with the right gear. However the 4% increase to parry rating from Rune of Swordshattering will increase your survivability factor even more since with this build it incorporates Spell Deflection 3/3 in the Blood Tree which is dependent on your Parry Rating which, when it procs, decreases magical damage by a whopping 45%. It also lessons the time you'll be disarmed in circumstances that this happens by 50%! So if a circumstance arrives that a boss or mob would disarm you for 10 seconds (which causes you to lose your ability to parry at all) you will only be disarmed for 5 seconds. Which is 5 seconds less then a healer will have to spam heal you which is generally a waste of mana.
Notice, with this spec I did NOT take Bone Armor. Bone Armor does decrease dmg by 20% when you are hit which helps your midigation out a lot. But thats just it, its only WHEN you are hit. And when its gone, its gone for 5 minutes. The Cool Down on the ability on a boss fight is just not worth talenting for it.
I hope this has helped, if their are any questions or disagreements feel free to pst.

Firstly, If you havn't read Ebon Plaguebringer it only helps spell dmg, its a raid buff. Crypt fever is the only thing that actually helps your dmg, the only thing you get from Ebon Plaguebringer is a 3% increased chance to critically hit at all times.
Secondly, Glyph of the Stoneskin Gargoyle is not the best tank chant in game. I actually tried it out yesterday and was 11 points OVER cap, its not necissary and the 2% stam increase only granted me a hefty 500hp. The midigation from Rune of Swordshattering is by far better once your better geared. Stoneskin Gargoyle is a starter tank chant that helps you reach def cap.
Third, I find that even with a lot of midigation you can't keep Bone Armor up anyway so its actually better to put the 1 talent pnt some where else that would help you out more.
Fourth, you say you never get disarmed in PVE? Not true, their are a lot of mobs in the game with disarming abilities, but I guess you'd actually have to pay attention to know that ;).
And as far as my rotation, thats why you use your CD burners. If you hadn't noticed Blood Pact is not on CD for very long so you can use it once or twice every pull depending on how long it takes dps to kill mobs, and after you've applied diseases to target you can use Glyph of Scourgestrike to keep your diseases on target and then you only have to burn one blood rune ever so often to continue applying to mobs. And you can use the longer CD CD burner every other pull. All and all its not hard.
Rage of Rivendare isn't that great, I have 1, ONE, expertise gem in my gear and have 21 expertise without any other help. And Veteran of the Third War increases your Expertise by a whopping 6 SIX points and increases str by 6% and total stam by 3%. The increase to str from this ability is probably almost equal to the increase in dmg you'd actually get from Rage of Rivendare and you actually get more from it.
