I'm Enh, and in my current spec, I only put one point in Improved Shields because I can't stand to go without Improved Ghost Wolf:

So maybe I'd finish off IS, and put the last three points in Elemental Warding for some added survivability, considering how ridiculously squishy I can be. I would imagine EW is a better survivability talent than 3 points in Toughness. 6% reduced damage across the board versus 6% more stamina? I don't actually know which is better.
Another option might be to put 21 points in Ele to get Call of Thunder. Improving LB and CL certainly couldn't hurt, but considering how often we crit already maybe that 5% increased chance might not be as good.

I do believe they plan to completely overhaul every talent tree. Something about having more 'fun talents' and fewer 'mandatory'.
Most of the Talent Trees will be changed dramatically
, a lot of the passive bonuses will be removed and talent trees should be more fun. (No more "Hurray! Level up! I just got 1% more hit!)

I know
that the talent trees are getting an overhaul, so this is more for fun...

I love quoting. It's a great way to show everyone how smart I am. In fact, every time you use a quote, you gain an IQ point. And the best part is you don't even have to think about what you're quoting.
Point is, posts that do nothing but quote tend to be redundant. Like the above post.
Now, for the sake of being on topic:
I would put them in totemic focus. Cheap totems ftw!

At the very minimum it shows that I'm smarter than the guy who can't read.

Except the post you're referring to wasn't redundant, the post it was in response to was.

Currently the only thing for elemental that may increase dps is reverb

Yes, you are super smart. It is very effective to quote the post directly above yours. Have a gold star.

I know this thread has derogated into flaming, but if we just had 5 extra points to spend on our current trees, I would put 3 more points into Ancestral Knowledge and the other 2 into Improved Ghost Wolf.
I really would like to have 5/5 Ancestral Knowledge currently, but it's just not possible with my spec, I'd also really like to have instant cast Ghost Wolf for situations where I'm doing dailies and someone engages me in PvP. With the new buffs to Ghost Wolf, it'd up my chances quite a bit.
For my Resto build, I'm not sure. I think I would grab the mana cost reduction talents for totems, because that initial burst of mana lost when I drop my totems, ends up being more mana than I use for most stuff in Heroics.
