Q: What does weapon speed do to us? Do we want slow or fast?
A: We still want slow. Every .1 speed slower is equal to ~20 DPS due to Seals and Judgements not being normalized to weapon speeds.
Same Elitist Jerks thread. Take the Edge of Ruin. You're going to see better DPS with it regardless. You'll gain at about 30 DPS simply hitting things with the axe.

ArP is almost a useless stat for us, Haste is okay I guess. What you should look at is the extra AP you get from the weapons and their max damage.

ArP affects: Auto Attack, CS and DS
Haste affects: Auto Attack and Seal damage (not all of it, since a chunk of seal damage is from instants).
I think they're closer in value than a lot of people claim, though I haven't done much crunching myself (as I don't normally play as ret).
Your mileage may vary (look at your recount and see what's causing the most combined damage).
The real trick is calculating in how much ArP you have on your gear already. It's slightly inferior to haste, likely, but sometimes you can't avoid it. The more ArP you have, the better getting more is. (It also depends on your raid comp. If you're in a 10 man you might not have both FF(5%) and Sunder(20%) debuffs for ArP)

Haste and ArmPen are roughly the same for us with Haste being worth a bit more. No Paladin should stack ArmPen nor should they run away from it.
