Why is king Varian Wrynn racist?

Since everyone seems to have lost train of this disscusion, ill bring this up...
If you were Varian, wouldn't you just
love
to destroy Garona? Wouldn't you?
Absolutely, and I wouldn't care about the consequences. Although I would probably not be all gung-ho for war with the Horde. That's a big obstacle, and I would seriously have to weigh that one for awhile before declaring war.
For the record, never have I said that Varian shouldn't hate Garona personally. I find it perfectly acceptable. All I've done is speculate about the consequences of killing her.

What is it about sues you like so much?
Or do you only like Med'an because he is Garona's child?
Or do you only like Garona because she is part Dreanei?
Do I like Garona? Yes. Do I like some of Knaak's characters? Yes. And for your information Dark, as I've said before. "I Liked Garona During the Last Guardian." Long before it came out that she was half-draenei, long before the Draenei retcon. She was an interesting character, with a good start.
As for Med'an, I like the idea him, I don't like his sue-ness, but it's still interesting.
But heres a question for you:
Do you like Varian because he walks into something, and proceeds to "kick arse" all up and down the block?
Do you like Varian because he's a human?
If so........ consider that for a moment, because you might be playing the wrong game for that.
So serisously, you have the Varian love, which is fine. I have Garona love, which is fine. What I dislike, is when someone uses there Fanboy fanticism to prove "Oh my hero can kick all your heroes butts!"
I know Garona has a lot of flaws, all Characters, even Thrall, have flaws in Warcraft. If they were perfect they would be boring. I'd much rather have someone with a tragdey in there past, be it Garona or Varian, to help them grow as characters. But right, Varian is so focused on righting all these so-called "wrongs" and deciding to lay them all at the feet of the Orcs, when only some of those are their fault, and even then, it's not the New Horde, it's the Old one.

There are so many Horde players attacking Theramore settelments, its ridiculas. Northold watch much?
That's not a Theramore settlement, it's a Kul'Tiras settlement, as well as Tiragarde Keep. Both are still acting on Proudmoore's orders issued before his death.

Thrall tried. They follow him happiley. In Lord of the Clans, they followed him because they had renewed their spirits and freed them from 14 years of slavery. Doomhammer had just taken his position, and they wanted blood. They wouldn't have settled for anything less.
He is the reason for all of this! How dare he show his face! I hope the lance hurt.Ner'zhul, Gul'dan, and Kil'jaeden were the cause of it. He did his best with what he had.
I cant belive he trusted Gul'dan of all people. Thats foolish. And he should have known after hearing thier history, trolls hate elves, before trusting orcs.He thought he had him under his thumb. The Trolls were there in Quel'thalas too. He didn't cross them in the least.
Yes, thats what Im talking about. And hes the Warchief, of course he could. Did he not say to himself he liked it?He said the conquest was good. The victory was good.
Well, Terenas knows Jaina. Its might be different. He would have thought her naive. She had no more proof than Medivh, and her believing him would just make him smile at her naivety in trusting a madman.
Well... I really dont know what I would do. But my Jaina puts her people before all else. Her people would have been hurt in the war too, and she would have betrayed the trust of an ally, killed two peaceful ambassadors, and successfully committed genocide. How could any person with any sort of morality live with themselves after that? Besides, I don't know if you noticed, but Theramore's still there, with lots of people in it.
Its still a bad move, Thrall could have changed his mind and kill everyone.Well, her alternative was the above, or more likely, losing and having even more people die.
Jaina would not attack Thrall, and Varian dives on Sylvanas.Varian attacked Thrall. She had to stop it. So she did.

Haha! Victory is mine!
Thanks for the compliment, btw. You're not bad at debating either when you aren't insulting people or proposing genocide... :P

Alright I'll just put this in here:
Why do I like Med'an, king of the Sues....... because your actually seeing him grow in the comics, which is more then you see for a Knaak sue, as they're already elite.
Med'an is learning about history; his, Azeroth and Outland/Draenor. He's learning things from his Uncle about the Light and how to be a better person. I'm sure when he finally get's to Karazhan, he'll learn more there. Even the whole "Flashfry'ing the Faceless One" he got that from things he remembered Meryl, Rhegar and Maarad telling him. Yes he's a sue... but he's not an iredeemable one, even with his background.

I like
Thrall
, because I cant help but feel sorry for him, and his constant suffering. I love how all his people are like his children to him. I love how he is willing to try peace, but can still knock someone flat... Rambo has become so much funer to watch. In the second one, I like imagining
Thrall
is Rambo, and the
Humans
are the Southeast Asians. I love how he is over all bad ass, and is a
Demon
slayerz. I love how he is ten demensoinal, and both Horde and Alliance can love or hate him. I love how he thinks of the most bad ass speechs ever... And I love how he is the star of a comic.

.Fix'd.
And I feel the same way, but with both Saurfang and Thrall. In my opinion, Thrall is the thinker, the one who comes up with the plans and the philosophies and the politics, while having the strength to deal with things when necessary, but Saurfang is the doer, the enforcer.
He sums it up quite nicely:
"I am he who watches they. I am the fist of retribution. That which does quell the recalcitrant. Dare you defy the Warchief? Dare you face my merciless judgement?"That's just epic there.

Agree with you totally. Saurfang is and always will be the awesomesauce of wow, and the image all warriors wish to be.
And well I also agree he taking the mantle of warchief if he fights and kills Garrosh, I more then recon on him just giving it back to Thrall too, as Saurfang is a vertran warrior, and Thrall is a young but wise shaman. And elder leader would more then likely hand down leadership to a younger one, and saurfangs no exception. Plus its obvious saurfangs respect for Thrall is so strong, given what he threatened Garrosh with.

What the Deuce?Blast!
But yeah, I think for a more direct parallel to Varian, we had Doomhammer as our Rambo figure, but then he was the leader of the Old Horde. It's not as epic to think of him killing good humans
Saurfang though... That's pretty frickin' epic. I think he could take Varian.

Why can't evil be epic?Well it can, but he doesn't quite fit the "hero," or even the "anti-hero" archetype. He's more of a "redeemed anti-villain."
Which is good, but I just like to see good guys kickin' ass once and again.

"redeemed anti-villain."
I think Skree just coined a new character archetype.
