As far as I'm aware, there was just a big-assed explosion and everything was created >.<
Fun fact, the "big bang" wasn't actually an explosion, it was a massive expansion, the term was originally satire created by those that supported the steady state universe. Very interesting video and the first time I found this out myself:

Two questions:
To the religious...Where did God come from?
To the athiests...Where did the gases that created the Big Bang come from?
.
.
.
One Answer: God...farted....BIG BANG!
What gasses? Where the hell did you hear anything about gasses? Or are you still under the impression that the big bang was a triggered explosion?

Indeed he really seems to explain things well. When I'm listening to what he's saying, the only argumentative response someone could come up with is "Nuh uh."

Can God make a boulder so large that even he couldn't move it?
I don't know.

A boulder so large that Got could not move it is contradictory to what God means. I.e., no.
I believe God created the universe in 7 days.
I wonder if that was sarcasm or not...
Then, sir, I must say, you have impeccable taste, AronRa is one of the nicest and smartest guys I've ever spoken to.
In person?

How could that be understood as sarcasm?

Religion is an instrument developed to keep
europeans
living in fear of hell, flames of justice and punishment....
What?
Also, that part of
organised
religion developed later and has nothing to do with the origin of religion.

Yes, he rested on the seventh, we call that day the Sabbath....Saturday (yes the Jews have it right..if you are religious please do not get it twisted...believe it or not it is the most important thing in the Bible it is said that God's plan revolves around this day and the High Holy Days....not to be confused with Holidays...these hold no ground) ....IRL Lore lol....i guess that makes me a Paladin...
I've read the Bible quite a bit, and I don't remember seeing 'High Holy Days'.

Religion is an instrument developed to keep europeans living justly and goodly.
in fear of hell, flames of justice and punishment...
True, it became very corrupt, but it was made with good intentions. Telling people not to go kill each other and steal and rape is not what you said it is.

I always wondered why it took an omnipotent being 6 days to create the universe. Some of my fellow atheists say "that's impossible, it would take billions of years". Which doesn't make any sense to me either. I've always thought it shouldn't have taken him any time at all, and he certainly shouldn't have needed a day off to recover. Little details like that, always gave me trouble with the whole "do not question the all wise and all powerful mighty being" thing.
Well, most accounts of God place him outside of time, so obviously it took him no time to create anything. That does not discount that fact that he can act
in time
.
