"FOOLISH MORTALS! FEEL THE MIGHT OF THE OLD GODS!" Morec pointed his runeblade at the ground below. The earth began to churn and rip itself assunder, causing major damage to the buildings and killing many pandarians.
Morec broke into a fit of maniacal laughter.

Character: Feng Greatpaw
Location: The Imperial City, Pandaria
Feng awoke in a start, hearing alarums and the rushing of feat outside his room, and outside the palace walls. He jumped up, donned his armor and weapons and rushed into the hallway. He went to Tahlia's door and yelled for her, then grabbed a servant by the arm and asked what was going on.
"Pandaria is under attack, the a village on the eastern shore has been destroyed."
Feng's face went from alarmed to horrified.
Attacked? How? Who?
, he thought. "Tahlia, wake up!"

Tahlia was jolted out of her meditation by the sounds of alarms then Feng pounding on the door. "What is it?" She asked, opening the door a crack and looking out at the pandaren, shocked to see a frantic look on his face. "We've come under attack." He said shortly and she nodded, closing the door quickly and pulling on her leathers. She looked around the quest room and saw a metal staff on the wall. "Well, when in Pandaria." She muttered, pulling it down then moving out of her room.
"Lead on Feng." She said, and the Pandaren nodded, heading off, the half-elf following him.

Feng led the way down the corridor, talking to Tahlia on the way. "With the attack, an emergency meeting will be called, in fact, it's likely that we are late. The nature of the attack will be explained to us while the Generals lead the Imperial Army against the aggressive force. If needed, the Shodo-pans will be called out to aid. If it comes to that, I want you there with me. If I'm right about who I think is behind this, I'll need someone with your
talents
to back me up."
The turned a few corners and made their way into a large room. There the other Shodo-pans were sitting, waiting on them. Feng turned to Tahlia and whispered, "Remember, do not speak unless called upon, and do not speak directly to the Emperor." He directed Tahlia to a seat off to the side, and took his own place at the table.
The Mediator called out the nature of the meeting, and opened the floor. The first to stand was a Shodo-pan from one of the eastern estates. He stated the nature of the attack, what the attacker looked like, and what he had said before he attacked. The next to stand was a Shodo-pan from the one of the northern estates, explaining the military action that is being taken. When all agreed that the force was sufficient, they got back to the matter of the attacker.
Arguments broke out as to why the attack happened, what the purpose was, and what should be done in retaliation, before Feng demanded the floor. He stood and spoke. "Members of the Council, My Emperor, I have been to Kalimdor, and have learned much of what has happened since the tsunami. I have brought an outsider into Pandaria because I feel it best for you to hear the situation from her lips instead of mine. May I present Lady Tahlia Martin."
He looked over at her and indicated for her to stand and speak.

"Thank you Shodo-pan Greatpaw." She said, bowing low to all, deciding that using royal manners would be good here. "I am an adventurer, wandering the world since the Cataclysm, what you all know as the Tsunami." Tahlia started, standing with the staff she had borrowed ground into the floor and standing at parade rest.
"The destruction was caused by the corrupt Aspect, Deathwing the Destroyer, enemy of Life and Order. His return caused the realm of Earth, Deepholme to rise upwards. Your geomancers have noticed yes?" She asked, looking around the room and several of the Pandaren's nodded in agreement. "We have ended up fighting a combined force; Deathwing's flights, the Blacks and the Twilights, monsterous dragons of power and force. The other force is the Twilight Hammer, a group combined of all races of Azeroth, working under the yoke of the Old God and the Destroyer. They are intent on destroying all life, while the Dragon's wish to make us all their servants." Tahlia said, looking around at the council, but keeping her eyes down as she passed over the Emperor.
"The discriptions of the attackers, one is a Twilight Dragon, you must be careful facing against it, their magics are incredibly powerful and make sure to check those who vanish, as the Twilight's are masters of shape-shifting magic. The other though, sounds like a Black Dragon, with possibly a Death Knight.... and I truly hope it isn't the death knight I think it is. He is a vile and vicious monster." She told them, then looked at Feng, not wanting to reveal anything else without permission.

"THAT'S RIGHT: RUN! COWER BEFORE MY MIGHT!" Morec laughed again as his power caused chaos below. It was
beutiful
.
Beware
, the voice of his master said,
your enemies draw near
.
Morec grinned, he knew who that must be, and he await his arival. But he would heed his master's warning. He directed his power again, ripping up huge ammounts of ground not yet touched by his power.

Thorlan was surprised to see Moonblessing in a night gown, wondering why a worgen would need something like that usually.
"Err, was just seeing if you were awake, sorry if I woke you up," Thorlan said.

Feng nodded, "Thank you Tahlia. Members of the Council, it is my belief that the threats of old have come once again. As was demonstrated tonight, Pandaria is no longer a safe haven. No longer can we, as a people, sit in on our secluded island and turn our backs to the world. It is time that the might of the Pandaren Empire be felt by the enemies who would crush us and see us as slaves. It is time that the Empire go to War, against the Black Dragonflight, the Old Gods, the Burning Legion, and all who would see us fall."
Shodo-pan Greatkeg stood and spoke, "Master Greatpaw is correct. He has told me of his travels in Kalimdor, and the dire need of all peoples of Azeroth to act. We must send our armies in force."
A few others stood and agreed. Then another Shodo-pan spoke. "My Emporer, Members of the Council, if we plan to combat these forces efficiently, we must have a force that is capable of doing so. While our Geomancers and Wardancers are powerful, I believe that it is not enough. We must abolish the stigma against the Arcane and send forth those who would wish to learn it's arts. A few of the Geomancers of my clan have expressed their want to do so, and I know that many others of all of our clans have wished the same."
An uproar started, a few of the Shodo-pans were against the idea, and a few were for it, while others sat back and listened. Feng tried to quiet the roar of voices and took the floor again. "I know that there is still animosity toward the Arcane, but as a member of this Council, who has seen the arts first-hand, I must say that those who practice the Arcane are not at all like the Kaldorei once were. Lady Tahlia, I believe it best that you continue with your explanations now."
The Council was immediately quieted, and waited for Tahlia to speak.

She nodded at the two and turned to look at the council room at large, taking a breath then spoke the words that would cause a bit of an uproar. "I am not truly a lady." She said with a small smile, and held up her hands, and spoke a single word, igniting them with fire. "I am Magus Tahlia Martin, member of the Tor and a neutral party. Greatpaw is right, if you attempt to fight only with the earth, your people will fall. Even the Kaldori, who, following the Sundering, gave up the magic, have taken it up again, realizing just how dangerous a threat we face at this time." She looked around at the council again, hearing them murmur words and a few looked at her with distrust.
"I have faced many threats in this new world, and I'll admit, without my magic I would have died... and painfully. I believe that Pandaren's would benefit from the addition of Arcane magics to your people." Tahlia said, and there was a sudden silence, and she turned seeing the Elder pandaren seated at the head of the table shift, and look at her.

"I was just wondering if you had any extra blankets you didn't want," Thorlan lied. He didn't want to make her think that he was just absently doing things, so he figured he might as well look like he was really trying to do something. That and whatever came to mind about asking he just hoped Moonblessing guessingly do.
"Have any?" Thorlan asked.

Morec
Pandaria
Morec was growing bored of this chaos. He death gripped a pandarian child into his grasp and squeezed its throat. "Tell the one called Feng Greatpaw, that Morec is here to see him," the child nodded frantically, and Morec set him back down on the ground, but not before he placed a disease in the young pandarian's blood.
Morec grinned as the small one scamped away. The plague would kill the child just after he delived the message, or just before. Morec had never been good with time.
Either way, Feng would come to him...
And he would have his revenge...
(( I'm a horrible person >:) ))

"I think I'm fine," Thorlan said. He was mainly counting on Moonblessing's way of constantly pushing forward, though seeing it wasn't going to happen this time.
"Alright, thanks," Thorlan said, turning around and heading to his room.
