God knowing everything (no before it happens, not after it happens, but instantaneously and eternally) has no bearing on the choices made.
I know it has no bearing. But that doesn't change the fact that your choices and your future are eternally fixed.

by you
.
What you do, is true in all eternity, yes. That's a far cry from predestination.

Yes, the only two people in the entire universe were able to hide from God, when there is only garden in which they can be. So very omniscient.
God works in mysterious ways.
Needlessly condescending, yes, but I couldn't resist.

Why does a mother ask her child if he took the cookie even though she already knows?

To get them to admit it and confirm that they may have taken the cookie. Adam never did say where he was, he simply says:
And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
Why does an omniscient being place a tree in the garden, if he knows they'll eat from it, and then punish them?
Because despite the fact that he knew it would happen it was still a completely free choice on their part.

If I put a steak in my dog's bed, I know he'd eat it. It makes no sense whatsoever to put the steak in his bed then punish him for it, it was my stupid choice.
Because dogs don't have free will.
Speaking of *!@# ups, God !@#$ed up pretty royally with Lucifer eh?
Lucifer was completely free also.
Create a race designed to praise you (God is so egotistical)
God is already infinitely perfect in every way; our praising of him affects him in absolutely
no
way. So him creating the universe couldn't be for his own sake, it was completely 100% for
our
sake.

You annoy me. Greatly.

This comment astounds me. Do you think dogs are too stupid to have self-awareness or is this another crazy dogma the church has?
Free will =/= self-awareness.
Please stop to think about your posts before posting them.
Angels are subservient to God, I've yet to see a single passage in the bible that says otherwise.
The very fact that they 'fell' means they...well...fell.
I'm talking about angels, not humans. And calling the universe created specifically for us is laughable, take a look at
this
.
Read the peer-reviewed papers it's based upon
and tell me there's proof that the universe was created for humans, or anything on Earth.
God created us.
God put us in the universe.
Therefore the universe in some way is for us.

Not questioning everything you're told annoys me.
Oh please, I have questioned a lot of things, and pondered things that I think even you might not have. I am still, to this moment, thinking about, and questioning, my beliefs. But I, mate, do not go around being rude to other people just because I
think
I am more knowledgeable than them.
Honestly, would it hurt us humans if we just tried to truly understand, tolerate and help one another?

God created us.
God put us in the universe.
Therefore the universe in some way is for us.
Not to split hairs, but if I remember correctly it went more like.
God created the universe.
God created plants, animals, etc.
God created humans.
So, the universe wasn't exactly made for us.

If you attack with biblical evidence please be prepared to stay on that plane. If you're going to attack the philosophy, then do it.

That's not different from what I said. plants and animals are part of the universe are they not?

Ugh, I read wrong. I thought you said God created us first and then the universe, nevermind.
