why do i get 7/10.... what do i need to improve? Need to know so i can base what to do next. Thanks.
your gemming is really bad, your trinkets are crap (healer ones), you should get the 245 totem.
spec: why the hell do you have imp shields? WTF you have 1/2 in elemental oath.
I'm sorry but 4/10 go read the stickies and learn what to do right.

hai Haxzor! *awards a purdy 10/10*
Sure, some gear could have better stats, but we do the best with the gear we have at our current disposal, so no worries there. One question though - why not Improved Fire Nova? It's great for AoE-ownage. :D
Been a while since I was rated, so I guess people can go ahead now: He's my character:

I do not know much about elemental spec, but all of your talents, glyphs en gems seem to be in order.
The only upgrades I see for you are left in Icecrown Citadel.
So, according to you, what would I need to achieve the magical 10...? If this rating system is going to include gear-upgrades (which, at this moment is highly based on pure luck), noone will ever get 10/10.
Anyway, by looking at your shaman, one thought popped into my head (a minor one): You could move the prismatic gem so it gives you a socket-bonus somewhere, and toss one of the haste-gems into the already prismatic-slot of your belt. I'm sure the
ilvl 200 ring
could be upgraded from somewhere without too much need, but I'd give that to luck.
And another, whats with the int/sp-trinket? Most likely a mistake-swap from your resto-spec, so I'll ignore that :P
Looks to me as you're getting the most of your character at your current level of progression, so a 10/10 from me (hm, I seem to be looking at all the good shamans? So nice :P).

Sorry for the minor off-topic, but:
Oops!

is my off spec ring.
Ugh, you're at a blasted database site. Link the item properly:

. See, the numbers are identical, what a magnificent coincidence (hint: it's not a coincidence)!

Definitely need to update that Sundial, there are a couple of nice trinkets in ToC (
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47879
or
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47316
would work if you can get them) that would fill that spot nicely. Other than that I'd say get a leg enchantment, lose a little hit, not sure where you would though (maybe bracers?), and you'd be all set save the gems like you mentioned. The trick with Epic Gems is to use Honor to buy uncut gems, and then have them cut for a tip. Save a LOT of gold that way.
Here I am:

(Be gentle, my ego bruises easily.)
