Teleport to/from Any Two Places on Earth

If you had this ability to transport instantaniously between any two places on earth as many times as you like as often as you like, and you got to choose where, but only choose the locations once, where would you choose?
For instance, I could choose to teleport myself instantly from my house to Hawaii, and I could go over there and catch the sunset every night. The catch is that if I ever moved out of that house, I would have to break in to use my power, or if it got torn down and a giant swimming pool placed there, id have to swim out there to get teleported. Or if the location in hawaii had a building built on my spot, I might get lodged in a wall and killed. Once the locations are set, they can never be moved.
Where would you place the locations?

Two locations...
Somewhere on the East Coast of the US (likely DC or NYC) to a city (home) on the West Coast... probably Portland or one of its suburbs. Or perhaps from one of those locations to Stockholm, Sweden.
I'd likely place a teleportation endpoint near a mass-transit terminal. This ensures that I can get somewhere even if I move out of a building.
I.e., that means more walking, but less flying. Big, big, time saver. And I could go home for the weekends!

This is intelligent enough. If it were me, I would place one teleport in a metropolis on the east coast, like in the middle of a banking area, and put the teleport on a sidewalk. Then I would put the other one in a ground level hotel room in another city on the west coast, with the hotel right next to a court house/ city hall. I would rob a bank every week or so, then drive the getaway car up onto the sidewalk where I can teleport away. Then I would immediately walk from the hotel room to the court house/city hall, and get something notorized, and smile and wave at the cameras. I would try to leave fingerprints all OVER the courthouse, and maybe even DNA evidence. I would cut myself and bleed on a carpet.
No court on earth could convict me of robbing the banks, no matter how visible I was.

Wait, so you can only teleport to one spot when you're at the other? Or can you teleport from anywhere but only to those two spots?
If the later I'd say Downtown St. Paul, MN and Zurich.
No, I don't have a definite reason.

The former.

Two 1.5;' x 1.5' pieces of cardboard. I would then move these pieces of cardboard around wherever it was convenient for me to teleport at the time.
/clap
I was wondering how long it would take for this to happen. But happens when your cardboard deteriorates away?
:P
And I think MyTie meant actual locations, not objects.

Well, to be honest, if I really had this power, i'd spring for some titanium plates. Also - the top of the plates ARE A LOCATION :D!
Cheaters win
What if someone happens to be standing on top either said titanium plates and you happen to teleport
into
them?

Well, does he mean absolute location or relative location? Absolute location would be impractical because the earth is moving along with our whole solar system, so he'd have to mean relative location, in which case there is nothing wrong with cardboard or titanium landing pads.

Absolute location doesn't exist.

It is interesting, but defeats the question. However, I did say a location 'on earth', and a titanium plate is a location on a titanium plate, above earth. I would say that if a location is generally accepted as a location 'on earth'. Argueing the language the details of 'on earth' seems distracting to the OP. However, I consider threads no longer 'my' threads once they are posted, but that they belong to randomness. In that spirit, if people want to consider cardboard cut outs as thier 'locations' then I guess they can, even though I don't think that fits the description of the question posed.

Absolute location doesn't exist.
Absolute locations do exist in mathematics at single junctures of time.

No.
And if you still argue, where do we set our origin (Euclidean geometry)? Oh wait, that's relative to the system outside the origin. Any other point is relative to the origin and to any other point.
Absolute position does not exist.

You might be right. I might be wrong. This is not something I have really ever thought that much about. However, let me pose a point, and go from there.
I cannot demonstrate to you an absolute location, because I lack the capability to find a true origin. All locations I can demonstrate are therefore relative. But...
Assuming physicists are correct in stating that the universe we exist in is finite, then can we say that the center of the universe is an absolute location, because that location is not relative to something else, but instead is relative to everything else?

What's the "center" of a universe? I can define the origin of an object to be anywhere. Heck, I could be the origin (I'm not, but I'd love to be!).
The center is relative to every point... but every other point is also relative to every other point.
Also, current science suggests that the universe is not finite. It's size is accelerating. Mass (energy), however, is finite.

Just because something accelerating does not mean it's infinite. An accelerating car is not going infinitely fast.
