Alexxa took a deep breath, jumping from one mushroom to another. A few times she nearly lost her balance, but managed to regain it before plummeting into the naga infested waters. She occasionally stood and watched a few Scourge pass by, crouching low to make sure they didn't see her.

Anrein was almost at the end when he saw more scourge rushing by, a few ghouls at most. The naga viciously attacked them and destroyed them, the undead not standing a chance.
"They're on high alert now, quickly," he said, landing on land finally.

Alexxa watched the ghouls get torn to bits, "They must be..." She jumped down, landing next to Anrein. "So what exactly do you need from the North?"

"More technology," he said to her, turning to her, "I may not like it, but it's my only salvation if I wish to become human again. Those damn titans tried to "cleanse" me of the curse of flesh while I was trapped, so now I need to see if I can reverse this. If I can, then this also means I can use this very tech. and use it against the scourge," he said to her, running and weaving in and out between shrubs.

She mimicked his movements as best as she could, "The Curse of the Flesh... I've heard of it, never thought much about it though."

"It's the titans saying we're suppose to be made out of rock or metal, not the way we are. Apparently we're all 'cursed'," he said, finally stopping.

The high elf looked down at her own pale skin as soon as they stopped, "... Odd the way those Titans think." She looked around at the blue marsh.

"Yep," he said, panting heavily from the sprint, not being able to run very far in plate gear.
"I need to rest for a bit, do what you want," he said, sitting down now.

"Alright. I'll make sure not to get captured. Holler as quietly as you can if you need me." The high elf drifted off into the mushroom stalks.

"By the Light," he muttered, grabbing a vial and drinking it. It induced him into a sleeping state, but would help him recover at an incredible speed. He hit the ground, passing out from the strong potion.

Alexxa leaned against one of the tall mushroom stalks, watching, waiting.
Hehe...
A Scourge patrol approached, and they soon found themselves swept up in an arcane tornado. It dropped the undead mid-air and they splattered against the ground in a mess of rotting flesh, bones, and blood.

Anrein groaned in pain, his head throbbing badly. He wasn't sure how much time had passed, but he noticed the elf wasn't around.
"Guess she left,"
thought, staggering up, still very tired from the potion.

Alexxa sighed to herself, wondering if that human was awake yet. She slipped away from the mess she had created back into the marsh.

Anrein began traveling now, not seeing any sign of the elf. He kept his sword and shield drawn, knowing that he had to be more catious with no one keeping an eye out to his back now.
"Probaly had second thoughts and went off to help the civilians," he said to himself, hiding behind trees and mushrooms as he traveled.

Alexxa came back to the spot she had left Anrein at, and found no trace of the man.
"'Course, bet he didn't really want that help." She sighed, "No point in going back now..."
She mumbled slightly, blinking between areas of cover to travel faster.

A longer than average snake crept through the forested floor of fungus, unnoticed among the mushrooms. Eventually it saw an elf ((Alexxa Everwind)) and formed into a tall troll with large tusks and green skin, a long and swift sword called "Dama'feng" or "Serpent fang" at his waste and a longbow across his back named "Kaz'latik" or "Death Branch". He crouched low, hidden, to see analyze the figure. It sighed and spoke to itself.
"Perhaps I should stick around, we share enemies certainly, but maybe wait for a bit..." He thought to himself. He went back into snake form murmuring "Dambala, give me the power of your essence, and allow me to take on your aspect."

Anrein had his goggles back at this time, though an alarm going off within them.
"Unknown humanoid approaching at high speed,"
the goggles said, turning around. He left the heat detection on, leaving everything in a blur of colors, so he couldn't tell what was what if it gave out enough heat.
He ran towards a mushroom and hid, waiting to see whatever it was come by.

Alexxa stopped in her tracks to catch her breath and her energy. Short-range teleportation that many times in a row took a heavy strain on someone. She looked from side to side, some of the mushrooms looked like they were moving.
"Just a trick of the mind." She mumbled.

Anrein saw the figure stop in front of where he was, now frozen in place as he tried not to move.
"Identifying..."
the goggles said, too loudly though.
