I am a Resto Druid in a 2v2 with a Arms Warrior.
We keep losing to mage / priest and rouge / priest. (any DPS / priest combo)
Most the time I am the kill target at the start of the match. This is fine. I can keep my self hot'ed through stunslocks. I can pillar hump my way out of most mana burns and dps. I am a druid an will not die as long as I have LoSing objects.
After a 15 or 30 sec, They start dpsing my warrior. Both their priest and their DPS stacks on each other and moves in to the open in a way that pulls my warroir which makes me leave LOS to heal. I then get hit with chain mana burns as I try to hot up my Warrior. If we let them go they will reset.
I can either heal my warrior and eat mana burns or shift in to bear and risk a dead team mate.
My warrior is new to arenas. I would like for him to not get pulled in to the open like this or at less not go out until he is full of hots.
I would to stay in out of LoS and pop out to cc to make their healer fall back in healing. Also let my warrior come back to me for heals. He as trouble with macros for intervene.
- to trees ---> How do you heal in the open in the face of mana burns? NS + cyclone on priest, then heal team mate only works one time every 3mins. . .
-to Warriors ---> How do you know when you are getting pulled into the open like this. How do you help stop mana burns on you healer?
-to priest ---> what prevents you for mana burring the most that can come for a druid / warrior team?

Put fearie fire on both targets, because it will help the warrior.
Cylclone the priest and get the warrior to focus on the other teammate, maybe even put a moonfire up yourself (every little helps)
You can eat the first set of mana burns, because you have innervate BUT it's not recomended because if he does it again your buggered.
Not got very much experience as a druid (played one on a private server till i got a job and bought retail) but this is just advice i have stumbled upon in my time on the forums and my own (maybe wrong) experience.

FF is nice to mark their resets.
The Priest will dispel it off his rouge before a reset. . .

my warrior is very new. He has only done 30ish 2v2 matches. he dose well, it is just poor gear.
Cemi, so you are saying keeping the warrior on the priest stops mana burning. .
ok, What more can I do to prevent it, Like when my warrior is cc'ed? most the time when he is cc'ed I hot my self and pop in to travle form to LOS.

Go bear form. I absolutely despise it as a priest.

Long time since i played arena as druid. But since mana burn have 30 yd range i guess you could go and heal from 40 yd range? If los is not a issue.
Also if you are a nightelf i think its good to save shadowmeld to when you use innervate.innervate/shadowmeld is win if your warrior slow them.
Play alot of arenas. And try do skrimish when your partner is not online. Tell your warrior to do alot of bgs to get more skills.
Try work on his innervate/charge with friends and so on. Gl in arena.
