Woman haven't been forced to marry in a long time in modern areas , and for it to be x linked means there would be more gay men than lesbian women, the same way all x linked problems are (color blindness, etc.....
One of my friend's was given a bride through an arranged marriage (somewhat hardcore conservative Indian family). Perhaps "forced" isn't the correct term to use for gays who have sex with women, but just like that example of arranged marriage, there are circumstances where one must act against one's own wishes for their future benefit (in the case of gays, having kids - being gay doesn't all of a sudden make you not want children).

This is a common judgement made of me that really bothers me. I have nothing against sex itself - it's an activity many find enjoyable, necessary for procreation. I have a problem with its objectification.
How is presenting sex in the context of two people who are in love objectification?

I don't find Lesbians and gays anywhere wrong, I'm straight and yet i am friends with someone who is gay, I don't find it anywhere disturbing being around him considering that I've been his friend since i been a kid.
Nobody can tell you who or what you should love. Gays shouldn't be hated just because of the sexual orientation, We all are human beings and one way or another we have to accept people of who they fall in love with.
Don't hate people of who they love, if you don't like them, keep it to yourself, other people don't deserve to be hated for it

How in the world is it being objectified? Talking about sex is not objectification, it's a common ritual necessary for understanding sex-- and something you always refuse to partake in.
There is the opposite end of the spectrum too. Deifying sex as this incredible thing between two people were angels cry and fireworks go off and yada yada yada... sex is hot, sweaty, and clumsy... especially if you've never done it before (celibate anyone?).
Sex is just an action in itself--- it's procreation; it's only significant because we make it so. Prepare to be disappointed.
so, because when yo usay "LOL I GOT BLOWN SO HARD LAST NIGHT," I don't join in, i'm refusing to "learn about sex"?
Sex is different to different people. Some people cherish it and see it as a special connection between two individuals who have decided to give up their bodies to one another. Other see it as something that makes you feel good for a bit. If you're one of the former, then power to ya. The world is lacking in people who see sex as something special instead of "another notch on the belt". I respect that. Just don't go complaining about people "objectifying it", because that's just how some people look at it. You can't change that.

I don't think you'll find many of those. Call my point of view limited, but I think you can either talk about sex as a street boy, bragging about how many women you've slept with and such (dehumanizing the women a little, and looking like an ass); or you can not talk about it, respecting it and thinking about it as something to be revered and marveled.
I don't think I feel comfortable going into that... sex founded on pure love is something I think should not be discussed publicly - it's an intimate act of sharing. I'll pass on the subject...
