I came from SWG (star wars.) I though "o ill go get my mount for around 2k copper in a few hours (there was only unit of money and the mounts would sell for about 1k-1.8k and u could get at any lvl) i started killing stuff, blah, blah blah, looked to see my money it said i had 5s, i when WTF wheres my copper? then i go" well it will be ok, ill just get my pet and then it will be better:) WRONG, i looked for a way to train my pet, then i asked a pally friedn of mine, Wtf man why cant i train a pet? he kindly responded, you got to be 10, then i ask, why cant i get a mount, after a few hundred lols, he said u got to be 40, i was like WTF.
Then i ran VC, i needed on it all, they said, dude that was a staff whyed u need it? i was new and i said dude thats a awsome hunter staff:) then i got told what the system was and gave the none BOP stuff to the leader.
Lastly when i was a druid, i tryed to leave moonglade..... through that tunnel. you know the rest

Browsing through other posts I remembered that I didn't know about opening the map. I was always getting lost in Stormwind. Sometime in my 20s I was trying to find a friend and he said "just open the map and and look for my dot"
Response: "You mean that little circle you aren't on it".
such a noob...

So many noob moments.
I initially had the trial cd running and rolled a NE Rogue. I fell a couple times falling from that big tree in the starter zone. Since I didn't die, I thought that when in trial status you couldn't die and jumped from the top instead of running down. First death of many.
I next rolled a dwarf hunter (my first 70) I came from SW Galaxies where you had to grind out levels by killing mobs forever, so I would go to an area and kill stuff for hours, I must have killed a billion wolves in Duskwood.
Because of grinding, I would get bored and try to unlock every fogged out area on a map for every area I was in for hours.
Enchanted my 2 axes with fiery and icy so I could do uber melee damage with my wolf on my hunter.
Would take 5 minutes to kill red mobs for the jump in xp.
On my level 70 Druid who was already raiding Hyjal at the time, my friend showed me auto run. How the hell do you play for over 2 years and not know how to auto run.
So many more, I was the ultimate noob.
