I thought Goldshire was a bank. When I discovered that it wasn't and that banks were in cities, I went up to people and said ' HAHA im gonna rob your bank all your money lol '.

When I first started raiding, I was such a noob that during the Void Reaver fight (one of my first raids ever!) I was targetted by an orb, I started running, not realizing I was on vent talking, I started screaming, "Oh ShT! oh sht oh sht oh sht!" and the whole raid yelled back at me to shut up. haha. I learned to keep my cool from there. ;-)

I was convinced that Blacksmiths could repair gear, so I wandered all over Goldshire spamming for a BS to fix my stuff.

I only recently learned this a week or so ago, but I thought that if an NPC's name was red, that meant it would attack you. So I always avoided the Horde flightmasters, until a guildie told me otherwise. :P

Ah okay... See, the other day I had a quest to go to Flame Crest in Burning Steppes, and notice the two Horde NPCs there. I'm thinking, well that's dumb, how am I supposed to turn in my quest without getting killed? Then a guildie told me they don't attack you.

I farmed Copper Ore for a long time on my first toon, thinking that 4g per stack of bars was insane money. Made about 150g that way, and thought I was uber rich. xP (This was in late TBC)
I also remember on that toon, before I started mining, when I accumulated 1g through selling everything that I looted, around level 13 or so. I was like "Whoa, I finally got 1 gold!"
I made a "Twink" shaman as well, in the 29 bracket..."Twink" meaning greens and blues with a couple Stamina enchants. This was also the time when I thought that twinking was extremely expensive.

I thought I killed too many
Mottled Boars
because as soon as I stepped out of the Valley of Trials and met my first
Dire Mottled Boar
which (at the time) aggroed me. I thought I had killed so many Boars that all boars in the whole of Azeroth were forever angry at me and I was on the Kill on Sight list permanently... I thought I had ruined my gameplay experience, doomed to be ambushed by wild boars wherever I went.

Out of curiosity, did you play Dark Age of Camelot before this game? I only ask because in DAoC that could actually happen. The more you attacked certain factions of creatures the more hostile towards you they got.
