I spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get on a hypograph. I finally gave up. I jumped up and down, right clicked, left clicked. I just couldnt figure it out yet I saw others come up and fly away. I figured I was just too low level about level 12 I think. Then a friend showed me how to talk to the man near them I felt like such a dweeb.

I thought that spamming the auto-attack button made me attack faster. Also, I took engineering and blacksmithing at the same time, at level 5, and did not know about the auction house.

Spamming Auto-Attack FTW.
Eventually my friend had to come over and literally yell at me every time I clicked it.

I thought Durotar was the only place in wow. I was quite dissapointed, but then I discovered the Barrens, and it took me 2 weeks on non stop playing to reach lvl 20 there. Good times

New noobish thing; just realized that BH has a portal back to the main city in it's basement by the instance portal....and I've spent the last few weeks running back to the main camp on the Peninsula to get back to 'real' Azeroth.

I used to think that you had to fill gem slots with their appropriate color.

Let's see...
- Had a shield on my retri paladin cus i thoguht that high amount of armor was cruicial
- When i bought 2 handed weapons, the speed of the weapon was most important to me
- Thought that getting a 60% mounth(at the time it was for lvl 40ies) was the the greatest and most immposible achivement, ever
- Thought paladins and warriors were the most powerful because of plate armor.
- Thought rogues and warriors were wear because their power source was only 100pts (Rage,Energy)
- Thought 1g was an impossible amount of money.Got my first gold coin at around lvl 40
- /s chat was more effective in a group, rather than /p due to /s having speech bubbles. Then i disovered there was an option to add speech bubbles to /p chat as well
- Prot paladins did more damage because of their blessing of kings. (pre quel danas)
there's no doubt more but i cant recall

I wash such a noob when I started that I didn't know that there was transportation from one continent to another. I was playing on an Undead Warlock and I began to swim across the ocean and died. I was very sad. But, then my ghost died, and suddenly I was in Kalimdor. I thought I was unstoppable.

Back in vanilla, when the riding skill wasn't available until level 40, I had to borrow the gold (it was also far more expensive to train and buy rides then) because I had less that one gold to my name.
Yeah, I spent all my gold on stupid things, and never put anything in the auction house. I sold or destroyed all my crafting things, keeping only what I needed to skill up, thinking it was only useful once you hit 300.
