The Sever

The Sever's Asylum -Viridiel
Viridiel came to, and found himself strapped to a large, golden cross within the middle of a room, golden crosses scatteer on the walls, floor, and even ceiling all around.
An arcane orb appeared before him. "Hello Viridiel Shadowtread, I would like to play a game.
"Your actions are based around spite and envy. Envy that others live while you must suffer undeath. I hold no love for the undead, but that has not stopped me from testing them.
"Your envy will be called into play soon, but for now your task is simpler. You will notice that wherever you look in this room, you will find crosses covering almost every square inch. They are a symbol of your past life.
"In order for you to survive and continue your murderous rampage, all you need do is escape across the room. However, if you seek death then stay where you are. In a matter of moments the crosses will be filled with a holy aura, powerful enough to kill you within seconds if you remain in constant contanct.
"Which will you choose? Life and the trials to come, or the death you were denied so long ago. The choice is yours.
"
Let the games begin
."

The Sever's Asylum - Ironhide
"Hello Ironhide, I would like to play a game.
"Worgen by nature are savage, dark creatures. You are no exception to this, even your human side has become tainted by their darkness. However, while some choose to use their darkness for good, you did not, instead choosing to murder and kill your way up the military ranks to your current position. All the while taking a sadistic joy out of your actions.
"I give you a chance to overcome this. The room you are in will slowly compress, and soon crush you - if I am not mistaken, that was the fate of your latest victum's skull, was it not? The only way to escape is by sawing off your right arm, which you may notice is clamped down to this structure with saronite bindings. You'll find that not even you are strong enough to break them.
"The tool you need to free yourself is located just a few feet from your position. To reach it, however, you will have to streach your body, causing you some minor discomfort, I'm sure. But it is a small price to pay for the many lives you've taken, isn't it?
"
Let the games begin
."

((Wait, I'm confused, is there anything specific I have to do to get out? Or is it just make the choice of living or dying?))

(( At first its the choice, but if you choose to live you have to avoid the crosses at all costs.
Oh, and at any moment the cross your attached to will fill with the Holy Light and kill you. ))

Viridiel Shadowtread
Location: Sever's Asylum
Very well... He unstrapped himself, and danced across the floor using the techniques he used during his life to cross difficult terrain. One time, just as he leaped, he saw the cross's golden color intensify immensely, until it hurt his eyes to look at. He realized how close he was to death as he reached the end of the hall.

"Be thankful you are alive, though, that is something that few of your victem can claim."

"This is your last chance to choose death, Viridiel. Proceed through the door if you want to continue your existance. If not, then throw yourself onto the crosses. I promise it will be quick and painless."

Kitanga gritted her teeth and stared down her "sister," telling herself that the warlock was not real. Still, just to be safe, she was prepared to fight, keeping her left hand balled into a fist while her bandaged right hung at her side.

Ziktri chatted away to himself as he carefully opened the door to the machine. Then, somewhat clumsily, he began to unscrew bolts at random without doing too much damage to the machine, "a little help would be appreciated," said the gnome, slowly working his way into the centre of the device, "no doubt it is in the centre and I appear to be almost done!" he said, as he unscrewed another bolt.

"This is your next test, Ironhide. Place your hand on the wall, and whatever you do, do not remove it. Doing so will result in... unfortunate conciquences."

"Helping you would defeat the purpose of the test," the Sever said.
Ziktri reached the center of the machine, and found nothing.
"You have one minute left to find and disarm the explosive." The Sever laughed.

Kitanga grunted and rushed past her "sister," moving quickly to the exit. She wasn't going to be hindered by malevolent visions, even if they did seem very real.

"Because that wasn't my sister," Kitanga answered in slight irritation. "I don't know who that was or if she was even real, but I know my sister, and she was crushed to death directly above me."

"I can't know for sure, but I am a shaman, after all. There's just a way that I could
feel
that it was her; something you can't replicate," Kitanga answered. "Besides, whether it was her or not, here I am at the next door. Kill me for not killing her, or let me pass."

The Sever's Asylum -Kitanga
The door opened, allowing Kitanga to pass through.
"I present you with a choice similar to the one I gave to your sister. To your right you will see a door marked 'freedom,' needless to say this will take you outside of this complex. You will be free to leave and take a waiting boat back to your home where your father awaits your return. Once away from this place, the gem inside your chest will cease to fuction. If you fail to learn anything from this, though, you
will
be brought back.
"However, to your left is a door marked 'duty.' This will allow you to do what you may think is right and attenot to kill me. If you manage to you will spare many the pain and suffering that you have endured, but you will also keep them from even learning anything but their dark ways to be truth. My death will lead to a new age of darkness, the darkness you are sworn to destroy, and you will be consumed by it.
"The choice is yours; duty or freedom. Which will you pick?"
