'I don't believe the Blood Elves like the High Elves all that much either. Do you think they would be able to set their differences aside?'

Vanndar Stormpike
Vanndar grunted back a chuckle. "Well, even if we were to place a mixture of High Elven and Blood Elven Magisters in the Convocation, we still need a figurehead, one that both the Alliance and the Blood Elves could rally behind. Arator is the only one who fits that description. The boy's a living symbol of unity, for Light's sake. He's had military experience in Outland, and he's a paladin. If we're to do anythin' with Silvermoon as far as governin' goes, I think he'd be our best chance at any type o' unity."

"Why don't we let the Prophet answer that?" he said dryly to Tili, nodding at Velen.

"Perhaps," Meraan nodded. "I think that, since the reignition of the Sunwell, the Blood Elves will and are gradually growing back toward their High Elven heritage. If both groups can only learn to respect each other, I think that a unified elven race might not be an impossibility in the near future."

"Well, it is questionable as to whether they would submit to any government that we impose on them. If we force it on them, they will fear totalitarianism, but if we are too slack, they will do whatever they like," Meraan nodded. "Perhaps we can reach an agreement: they may elect their own members of the council, but they must select a certain number of High Elves to join as well? If we choose the members, they may grow to resent them, but if they are allowed to choose for themselves, they may very well learn to get along," he paused, turning to Broll. "I believe that the Sunwell will help cure their tendency toward Fel. They turned to Fel to fill the void the Sunwell left, and, as such, should not feel the need for Fel much longer."
((Sorry for my failish suggestion here... :P I was in dual credit government, but I never learned anything about dealing with a situation like this, so I'm kinda flying blind.))
