"Well, we can either make it so that have no way of ever fighting back--that is to say, kill them... or we can treat them fairly and attempt to earn their trust and respect," Meraan nodded. "You can imagine which option I would prefer. It might be more difficult and takes a greater risk, but it has the potential to be far less bloody and tragic than the first."

"I agree with the second one. If we kill them we commit genocide, and are no better than the Burning Legion or Scourge. Worse in fact, as we have the conscious choice whereas they don't."

'Master Brewswsord, genocide has been discussed before and - even though I don't like it - it's not an option. I can agree with a peace treaty. All of us living our lives. But if we do that, we MUST have control!'

"Peace is not an option. The hordes hate for us runs deep. Many of them would never give up unless we totally wipe out there entire race." she said.

Meraan shook his head in frustration. "We cannot allow genocide. It is simply not an option. My people will not have the blood of children and innocents on our hands," he said again. "And besides, wiping them out would cost more money, resources, and Alliance lives that a treaty could spare. Why should we not at least try to make peace with them?"

Bjarn nodded. 'We've already decided genocide is not an option. However, if we do agree for a peace treaty with them, there will always be some rotten appels seeking to disturb the process. How do we deal with thise?'

Character: Brigadier-General Horseworthy
Infomration: Well respected army officer and member of a wealthy family of nobles, he is merciful and tolerant however he can be ruthless and brutal if need be He is sent to represent the human military forces in the treaty of Ironforge. He respects his enemies and his wisdom exceeds his years, he is 40 years old with grey hair and a moustache. He thinks everything through and looks at the consequences.
Horseworthy arrived late to the place where the treaty was being discussed. He could feel tension in the air and overheard enough of what the recent speakers had to say to know that it didn't look that bright for the horde. He strode in with an air of authority. He waited for silence then he spoke "we have no choice, wether we like it or not we must bring peace to Azeroth, if we attempt genocide or create an unfair treaty our positions could be reversed. Desperate enemies fight harder and have less to lose, if we approach this matter foolishly and with hatred we shall undoubtedly face the consequences soon after, these are dangerous people we are facing here, not some pathetic ruffians. As for all this talk of the cruelty of the horde, many times in the past we have done the same to them, only we reign victorious, so those facts are considered immaterial now. And as for keeping an army in shape by starting useless wars, sure it will keep them in shape, especially when they have enough and start rebelling" said Horseworthy clearly and assertively, "and if our armies rise against us we could face a civil war or revolution, do you really want to chance that!" he said turning to some of the other speakers, his voice was full of accussation however he lot not anger or annoyance get into his tone. "As for these 'rotten apples' what exactly are you implying" questioned Horseworthy, turning to General Stouteye, "if you are implying spies and those who seek to reignite the war, they shall have to be punished if they commit any crimes or take action in order to restart the war, we cannot show any tolerance, worst case we may even have to execute them if it means keeping the peace."

before
that happens!'
