Did i really deserve to get guild kick?

I haven't read most of the posts in their entirety, I'll admit, but I don't recall the OP stating at any point that he made use of guild resources at any point or that it had any bearing on him being kicked.
Personally I never use guild repair function, or make withdrawals from guild vault without donating something of equal or greater value. People who can't afford to repair their own gear and supply their own consumables have no business raiding imho.
Raiding with guild = using guild resources.

Its depends on who you asked some are in these hard core guilds where if you walk in the wrong dirrection you get booted from the guild and some are in the we do ICC 10 and 25 anything else is fair game guilds that lets you pug whatever.
I personaly think that it was extreme to just go you in 10 man... yes. KICK!
Also on a side note. I use to be in one of these types of guilds. They said no 25 mans unless you asked. This is in Wrath now so get this. I get invited to do a grulls lair run. Not the Eye or even BT which my guild might do every once in 5 months. I get a pst from a officer that says grulls lair is a 25 man and I get kicked. whispered the Gleader later who said that is is a 25 man. I promtly called him a idiot whispered the officer called him a retard and ended up causing about 14 of the 30 people in the guild to leave. (NOTE: I would not have done it if it would have been a Wrath run.

Where in that sentence does it say anything about banks?
Who ran your raid? What pool of people were the raid members pulled from? Who made sure they were all on time? Etc. Etc. Etc.

that was 100% your fault no one Elses as harsh as this sounds you deserved to get kicked when a GM psted you asking you why you did a 10 man
...
He's reinforcing the guild rules just incase you weren't aware of it
-- Now this is where you messed up--
: but its OS, nobody wants in the guild wants to do that one...
that says you knew rule and said ya I am
you should've told him the situation and then asked him if it was okay under circumstances
first off all it was an officer, secondly since i got kicked at the same in the same sec i sended that wisper he would have kicked me anyway.
when i told the raid i got gkickt our maintank told he was a veteran of that guild, he was kicked for having friends by a guild that the GM hated (the GM was once a member of that guild, got gkickt and made his own guild)

As an officer, when the rules state clearly: NO 10 MAN PUGS' and someone does a 10 man pug, then he tries to say he wasn't in wrong, he defiantly breaks a rule which should result, in any serious guild, an insta guild kick.
OP's guild is obviously a serious guild..
You're funny ^_^
Yes 10 man OS is serious nowadays. Sure. Yup.
Pugging a quick 10 OS does not lead to more basic, sensible rules being broken. Not even for a serious guild raiding ICC.
If you expect anybody to respect you, don't act like a fool. If the rules are stupid, people are going to ignore them, and rightfully so
(i took the liberty of checking your profile, and i can see you're still in your school years. May i suggest you pay close attention next time the subject of Dictatorship is discussed in History class :) )

Insulting people won't help at all...I suggest you pay more attention in rhetoric class.
But, since you seem to hold younger people in low regard, perhaps you should deal with me instead. Is a BA in philosophy good enough for you?
Why does a person follow any given rule? Because he chooses too? No, because then they aren't really rules, they're guidelines. You follow a rule because you have given up some of your rights and responsibilities to someone else for the betterment of the group as a whole. The person in charge should not have to deal with people who only follow and listen to what they feel like doing.

Couldn't agree more. Restricting content like OS to being "guild only" is very lame.
They are not restricting anything.
If he would have asked, and then they said no without planning a guild OS run,
that
would be restriction.
Lol @ people curled up in there little argument, who refuse to understand what is going on.

When did i say being young(ish) was bad or an insult in itself ?
I mentionned this in regard to the need to paint things in black and white, and while it's not exclusively done by young people, i find it often is.
(also, i applaud your truly spectacular scholar prowess, but fail to grasp its relevance here)

And setting up rules that give little to no benefit to the group helps said group how exactly ?
Yes he could have asked an officer (in case said officer was an anal jerk), but yes kicking him out because he was running an instance nobody runs anymore was an authoritarian move, and therefore, stupid.

Oh, apparently you haven't bothered reading the rest of the post here. That aside...isn't it pretty obvious? You don't raid outside your raiding guild because that makes it impossible for the guild to plan raids because they have no idea how many people are saved. So, you make the rule that you don't raid until you've checked with an officer first.

If you break a rule with full knowledge and then try to give an irrelevant excuse, you better start packing your bags.

By assuming he doesn't know what he's talking about because of it.

nonsense
If a person, supposedly quite brainy, is Intentionally misinterpreting and /or ignoring context, it is considered trolling, right ?

Now there's two sides to every story, so I'd love to hear the officers take on it. However, with that being said and based on what the OP mentioned, you could say it's a failure of the guild leadership for not having it thought out in regards to older content.
The GM and it's officers clearly failed to outline in specifics what is/was allowable by not looking beyond the no pug's period policy. You could have said, OK, I won't go but I would like this to be addressed by the GM or brought to the membership. Who knows how many others felt the way you did?
So before running off and joining a new guild, do your research about them, ask specific questions if you don't see something listed on the rules page and learn from this mistake.
