Since last evening, upload halts at 79%, then after 20-30 seconds the error:Wowhead is unable to process your upload at this time.
Please try again in a bit!comes up. No update available (tried both manual update and automatic one at application start)

How curious,
Since the Wowclient update to level
1.7.1
yesterday, the upload process doesn't work at all anymore ! See here under the last 20 rows from the log file.
It looks like there is a problem on the server, right ?
Any suggestion ? Thanks !

I've been having some trouble with Wowhead_Client as well, but mine seems to be different from others. It'll stay at 0%, then give me the error message, "There was a problem uploading your data, please try again later." Then it minimizes the client, strange thing is it won't take the data, but it'll take my character data and update them on the profiler. As strange as it is, and as much as I would want this problem fixed as soon as possible. I ask the Wowhead team to take their time, and make sure the problem will be fixed properly.

...but it'll take my character data and update them on the profiler.
Can you please clarify where and how you do that ? I'm not aware of this workaround and in the meantime the data to upload just grows bigger day by day.
Thanks !

What I did was goiing to World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\**account name**\SavedVariables and deleted the +Wowhead_Looter.lua file. It worked after that.

This is what I see in the log:
Thanks for using the Wowhead Client!
This is version 1.7.1, built on September 17, 2010.
Compatible with Wrath of the Lich King.
WoW is now running.
WoW exited. Auto-uploading...
Upload failed: Server timeout.
Upload failed: Server timeout.
second attempt was done manually just too see if it was really broken.

Unfortunately for me that doesn't seem to work.

I don't know if you have fixed this but I got this aswell and found that if you go into the options and untick the upload character details then upload it works (also the row in the bottom window disapeared). Then I reticked the upload character info and loaded and exited wow and that also worked fine. Might have some how caused bad data from the character info? Or to much (mine looks like it had never uploaded but it has now!)
Regards,
Zas
This worked for me.

I have also been having trouble uploading and this workaround did solve the issue. I am told they are working on a fix to the client and that it will be available for download soon.

Thanks for the suggested workaround (deleting the Wowhead_Looter.lua file) but the upload process magically worked today, so I'll consider it solved for now !
Also, when launching the wowhead client it seemed to quickly update a file first so I assume that was the correction. Thank you Wowhead ! :-)
