Fonlithien, The Hunter's Lodge, is know only by the Hunter. Its a safe haven for all Hunters. Horde or Ally, all are welcome. Only the bravest and most cunning of Hunters find their way to Fonlithien. Do you have what it takes to call your-self a Hunter?
As you come upon Fonlithien, you feel a sense of safety and comfort. You've transversed all of Azeroth to walk through the doors of The Hunter's Lodge. As you walk towards the door, the smell of roasting meat and ale are heavy a light breeze. The sound of laughter booming from inside. You take a deep breath and walk in.
Hunters of all races are engaged in song, story, or sleep. A raging fire is at the head of Fonlithen. A
feast
lies before the fire awaiting the Hunters of Fonlithien. Some are seated with a plate, while others are chugging ale. In the corner to your left there is an Orc in a hammock. He seems to be sleeping. Until he welcomes you.
Welcome to Fonlithien, The Hunters Lodge
. Located in Sholazar Basin, overlooking the
River's Heart
. Claim a seat and growl. It wont aggro anything... Much. But it lets the others know that you are here to stay. Tell us of your travels, experiences, and where you'd like to go. Dont be shy when you come in. We are a friendly lot, so dont be surprised if you get crowded.
He lowers his head again, and begins to sway slowly. As you walk deeper into Fonlithien, you are awed by all the trophies. Be it the heads of beasts, 3 hydra heads mounted over the firepit and look as though they are crashing through the wall, or the stuffed ones that seem so life like, the 6
Vultures
perched one on each column, the
Bats
hanging from the ceiling, the fire flickering in their glassed over eyes. And so many more beasts in many poses. You take a seat, and Cialbi, the Dwarf hands you a tankard of ale and greets you.
Welcome, lad/lassy, to Fonlithien. Name be Cialbi. Glad to be seeing another Hunter make it. Many try, and many fail. Ye got spunk.
He downs his ale, and stumbles off. Silly Dwarf. You take a drink, and when you go to set your tankard down, you notice something about the tables. They are made of
crabs
and
crocs
. You, dont feel uneasy about any of this. You feel as though you are at peace. Almost like your in a place you can call 'Home'
The only thing that I ask is that we keep things clean and civilized. This is a place for talk outside of the game. Its a place to relax your mind and get to know your fellow hunters. The Lodge isnt for Hunter questions of any kind. Please post Hunter related posts in the forums. I know some of you might be the type that shuns these kinds of places, but please no brawls lol. No disrespect. No spamming (if you have more to add please 'EDIT' I dont want this The Lodge locked). Stay on topic, or find a sub-topic. This will leave the confusion to a minimum and will allow for the friendly atmosphere The Lodge represents.
Only read this post and the last 2 pages
. You not missing much, but if you are bored read all of it... Its pretty good

I'm down. Now if only the servers were up. :P
I do like this idea though. I've always found the Hunter's board to be fun and friendly at times. I think this would work out great.
Ditto.

I'm guessing a sticky thread of that nature would get really cluttered and difficult to follow, and a subforum probably isn't necessary. What we need, in reality, is a WoWHead chatroom system. (Although, I think they may already have IRC chatrooms?)
Sounds like one for the Feedback/Suggestion forum.

Who, me? Yeah, nothing much has changed. Maybe I can start again come Spring Break next week -_-
For good news, I've been accepted to two schools - Seattle Pacific University and University of Washington :)
Now, I need to win some scholarships or I'll have to go to community college instead :(
For somone that thought this was a bad idea, you are falling into it lol. I was talking to North. Being married at that ages is kinda tough. Im 23 and been married for 3yrs now. I wish him the best of luck. I think its good his fiance plays wow. My soon to be ex-wife has the basics but dont play much. If she knew more than my marriage could have been saved. Im found that the time we had together when we could both play was good enough for her. We both kinda grew apart cuz she felt so noobish. She still likes the game though so thats good lol
Well props to you for the Colleges. What ya want to go for? And please dont tell me for something that could train you things that could lead to possible world domination lol.

A biochemist? The world may be in peril. I mean the things ppl can do. An IRL
Putricide
lol. Well if its what holds your attention and you enjoy it, go for it. Remember, anything worth having is only obtainable through hard work and determination. Best of luck to ya.
I recently started school, and its gonna be hell sorta speak lol

Hey, the point of the thread is to get to know your fellow hunters. Well you just discovered Im able to make raid boss references and turn them into a joke.
But think about it. Really. You gonna be tinkering with things that could possibly wipe out all life on the planet, test them on insects or rat/mice, and record the data.
Putricide does that. But he is
TRYING
to wipe out life lol. You wouldnt do it on purpose, would you?
Im not saying that what you gonna be doing, or what you were doing as an intern, Im just trying to make convo lol. Sorry for the blind-siding you.

Ahhhh. Thank you for the clarification. You want some thing that is great for healing, if you will. Massage Therapy. Im going to school for it, and I must say the benefits of massage therapy are amazing. So many things can be 'cured' with a massage and it saves you a trip to your Dr. and money for meds, testing, ect.
I've a plan for when I get out. I just hope it will play out in my favor.

Pharmaceutical company? Drug company is more like it lol I mean think about it. People can get addicted to them, they can be sold for illegal use, and so on. My mother-in-law is traing to be a Pharmacist, and when I found out I asked her "You want to be a professional drug dealer? You want to be the one that measures it out and distribute?" She laughed at the joke, but it was kinda the truth.
I know that this is what I shoudl do. Ill make it work if I have to lol. 7yrs of making ppl feel good, relaxed, and being told Ive got magic hands and need to pursue more, I said yes and Im on the path to being a professional healer. And the best part is Its only gonna take me a year to do it

I'd best not debate this :)
Just keep in mind that there's a huge difference between the pharmacist that handles and distributes all sorts of life-saving medications and the drug dealer who sells illegally-obtained prescription drugs to addicts. I'd advise against mislabeling the former as the latter.
For the record, I have my issues with
Big Pharma
drug companies
, but they have little to do with some drugs being addictive.
Anyways, do you already practice massaging? It's nice to know what you're good at career-wise, and to actually enjoy it.
I know the difference between the two bro, relax lol. Just my odd humor showing again.
I was 16 when I was giving friends and family massages after a hard days work. Many had factory jobs or played sports so I was like a therapist. They told me I should look into it more. All my exs got them too. So yeah im good at it.
But recently, MT has been defined as a Health Care Profession, and now has legal penalties if practiced on the public and not lisenced.
HOWEVER
, unlisenced people can 'massage' their imediate family, spouse and/or significant other without legal action being taken.
Legal action can only be taken if a lisenced therapist calls a hotline and tells the name of the unlisenced 'therapist'. Impersonating, if you will, is not a federal offense. Go figure.
