As of the latest patch, Rupture can now innately crit, which changes the Combat spec rotation, talent and glyph choices.
1)
Single target fight Spec:
For single target fights with a long uptime on your target, this is the best:
Combat 3.3.3 Spec
I chose CQC just as an example. This post in no way attempts to define CQC as a better specialization over HnS or Mace Spec.
Single target fight Glyphs:
Killing Spree
and
Rupture
. Third glyph should be either
Glyph of Sinister Strike
(best for your own DPS on single target fights),
Glyph of FoK
(for fights with lots of AoE) or
Glyph of ToTT
(Worthy choice for a third Glyph in a raid scenario).
Single target fight Rotation:
After reading EJ this morning (7th April), it is said that 2s 2e 5r is the optimal rotation for a geared (i.e. T10) rogue. I am not currently playing myself, so I haven't tried it myself. However, I think it's worth trying, opposed to the T7 rotation (3s 5r 2-5e).
2)
Multiple target fight Spec:
For single target fights with a long uptime on your target, this is the best:
Combat 3.3.3 Spec
I chose CQC just as an example. This post in no way attempts to define CQC as a better specialization over HnS or Mace Spec.
Multiple target fight Glyphs:
Killing Spree
and
Glyph of Sinister Strike
. Third glyph should be either
Glyph of Eviscerate
(best for your own DPS on single target fights),
Glyph of FoK
(for fights with lots of AoE) or
Glyph of ToTT
(Worthy choice for a third Glyph in a raid scenario).
Multiple target fight Rotation:
5pt SnD, then dish out 5pt Eviscerates until you have to refresh your SnD. Keep in mind, that if you're using Eviscerate-only spec, this is the rotation that you'll be using. Maintaining 100% SnD uptime is vital, even if you have to pool energy a bit as a consequence.
FoK is better used when there are three or more targets.
If the fight involves frequent target switching, then use the following as replacement for your SS button:
#showtooltip Sinister Strike
/startattack
/cast Sinister Strike
Should you find trouble finding a working copy of a Combat spreadsheet, I use Aldriana's 1.5.1 version. Last official update was in line with 3.3.0.
Aldriana's Combat 1.5.2 spreadsheet (3.3.5 ready)
P.S. Just to reiterate how good Rupture can be now:
Low Rupture cycle is still worth using even if you are heavy on ArP,
on a tank'n'spank fight
. Assuming you change talents/glyphs accordingly. If you don't, and try using Rupture when specced for Imp. Evis and don't have Rupture glyphed, you will barely see a difference in the DPS when you're near the hard cap. When hard capped, you will probably not use Rupture. Depends on the amount of AP you have, really. For more detailed overview, here are some graphs.

I have 2 small questions:
Firstly, is the dps increase of the Rupture glyph significant or is it a rather low dps increase?
The reason I ask this is, because the Eviscerate glyph was only a 50 dps increase and the Tricks glyph was a 200 raid dps increase in which the Tricks was obviously better in raid situations.
However is this the same with Rupture glyph or is its dps increase actually better then the raid dps increase of the Tricks glyph.
Secondly, I've heard people saying that gemming agility will be better now, but I dont seem to understand this. Rupture profits from AP aswell and even now with rogues reaching their crit cap, I dont understand why agility would outweigh AP.

1) If Rupture can crit, then Agi > AP
2) If you're crit capping, AP > Agi
Condition 2 overrides condition 1. But not everybody has condition 2.

has anyone got the numbers on the percent of crit on rupture?
if its like 1% is it even worth it?

Increases the duration of Rupture by 4 seconds
I am mainly wondering why jerks ignored all of this for the most part, BUT I do realize that they only deal with end game bis eq and maybe it just doesn't help them at all.

It inherits your special attacks' crit %

Any more news on this? I've been thinking about CqC to test it out.
Updated.
As for specialization choice, pick a specialization which fits your weapons best. Whatever you have in bank, take a look and decide. I only chose CQC over HnS because my main-hand for CQC was far better than my HnS main-hand (
heroic Black Bruise
versus
Quel'Delar, Cunning of the Shadows
).

Thanks for the update Liquoid but I'm seeing a dps loss switching to rupture in the spreadsheet. The loss isn't major, only about 10dps, but a dps loss is still a dps loss. Anyone else seeing similar results?
Have you edited your spreadsheet to account for Rupture buff?

call me useless but i cant find where to open the calcs sheet on 1.5.1,im using excel 2007
Open up the sheet
At the bottom, right-click on any of the sheets you can see (e.g. "Equipment", "Settings")
Choose "Unhide"
Select the "Calcs" sheet and press "OK"

I don't think 1.5.1 is already adjusted to rupture critting.
That's right, you have to manually edit it in order to be able to work with it.

In my case (cf. armory), it was a 224 dps increase without changing my gems, and a 268 dps increase if I changed all of them for Agi/Haste.
Although the low Rupture cycle
might
be better when stars and moons align, it feels so weak. Eviscerate crits for 7k where it used to be 16k, and my Rupture only ticks (crit) for 1.6k. The cycle is also very hard to maintain, imho.
Going back to the Eviscerate-only cycle: much more utility for quick switches fights like Arthas.
