Those murders were not carried out by christians... although the bible says abortion is immoral, if it is rape, I believe it is ok to abort. I am not a traditionalist.
Sorry, but my belief in Jesus stands firm. You cannot move me to athiesm..
I'm not trying to, but it is true that a lot of extremists do kill the doctors, you cannot deny that, especially when they admit it afterwards.

Are you saying that anyone who kills cannot be classified as Christian, or are you just being extremely ignorant?

OBJECTION! Those were done in the US.... Is there a case where someone has killed an abortionist in the UK?

It shouldn't matter where it was done; it was still done by extremist of the Faith.

OBJECTION! Those were done in the US.... Is there a case where someone has killed an abortionist in the UK?How is that relevant at all? Christians are christians, independent of where they live.
Besides, the argument was that christians would leave atheists alone if atheists alone, and where
I
live, christians kill abortionists, even other christians.

Oh, I forgot that there are no American Christians, despite the fact the country was founded by #$%^ed off protestants.

There were some secular founding fathers.

I'm not saying it's for Christians, but saying there's no Christian Americans is bull.

Or as I said before, the definition is irrelevant because your definition does not apply to most atheists.
Just because people are wrong doesn't make them any more right. Most people think that they're of above average intelligence too, and it doesn't make them any more correct.
Additionally, that definition is written from the perspective that God exists: "which affirms the reality of God"
The definition of
theism
is written from the perspective that God exists. The definition of
atheism
is firmly predicated on the fact that God does not exist. I don't see a logical way you could have come to that conclusion.
Anyway, I don't have much time to post right now. I'll be back soon.
Edit: Just to reinforce one key point: theism does not equal Christianity. So when everyone argues over theism (as opposed to Christianity, like the last two pages), take your Christian-centric views out of it. This applies specifically to Skreeran and DoctorLore, who keep arguing with a very Christian-centric focus. Evolution may not be as compatible with Christianity, but it is 100% compatible with theism.

However, I used to be a christian, my family is christian, and the majority of my state and country are christians, so that is where my expertise lies.

Nobody believes it does (unless you're confusing the joke post I made earlier).

Christianity is the biggest religion in the world, ergo most Theists are Christian. They're also the greatest force for evil in modern times, so they get my attention.
Islam and Hinduism are very close indeed.
Thus most theists are
not
Christian, but the largest faction of theists are Christian.
