Where in the light did you get that 5% statistic? I remember clearly literally everyone doing Naxx and Sunwell when it came out... Heck, they even had dungeon queue's just to get in, as in the servers were full and could not create another instance.

Dungeon queue's to get in...
uh..
On topic. They didn't do it because it was hard. Genuinely hard.
Ya, sorry, didnt mean Queue as in what it is today. I meant a Que as in something like the Login Que. Where people had to wait in line to get in because it was so full.

Ah, I was on Baelgun and we had to wait anywhere from 30-60 minutes just to get in. We even had people running in and out of the portal hoping to catch it first.

Isn't there's a saying about how 99% of statistics are made up on the spot?
Also, your theory doesn't account for all of those who joined after WotLK launched, and subsequently couldn't find a group willing to do old content for outdated epics.

107% actually.
Wait...

I make up 99% of my statistics, and statistically that is an accurate representation of the majority of statistical statistics from most statisticians...

5%? I think 50% of raiding guilds on my server had BT on farm after first 2 month it came out. Heck I even ditched my main during BC because I didn't need any drops from BT anymore.
Naxx 40 mabey true, but it wasn't cuz people were lazy etc. I t was because it took so long to gear up 40 people in shadow resistance gear, and the whole place took at least 2 weeks to complete doing it 3 hours each day. What server were you on? Both Nazgrel and Fail'thas had most of their raiding guilds still bashing their head on Moroes and Aran when ZA came out.
Well, your server choice explains the lack of cutting-edge guilds...
I play on Kil'jaeden, and quite a few guilds (at least 10, probably more) had BT on farm after the first few months as well.
Also, lol @ head-bashing on Aran, probably one of the easiest fights in all of BC raiding as long as you know how to stay still during flame wreath and run the hell away when he casted arcane explosion.
