If the RL don't know this about hunters by now, you guys won't get too far.

I was doing a PUG and when this fight started I placed myself behind the stacked group and at the minimal distance needed to use my bow, though it felt like I was far away.
That's the right place to stand. Most raid leaders understand hunters and usually tell everyone BUT hunters to stack up. If they didn't know then someone should clue that raid leader in. It also feels a far distance away due to Marrowgarr's huge hit box. Generally when I'm spiked, I either tell them (yo hunter is spiked in the back) via vent or raid chat or the raid leader is good enough to inform them someone in the back has been spiked.

Just did Marrowgar for the first time last night. Guild run, raid leader said stack up, I assumed position at the back. I'm one of 3 hunters in the guild, the other 2 are more casual than even myself. I had a comment from a rogue in the guild about not stacking up, but the RL promptly snuffed him.
Do people really not understand a min range?
Nonetheless, I got my ring, a stave, and some new legs, shoulders, belt. Check out my armory. (I know I gemmed incorrectly. I should've waited until I was more awake to do it. Ended up incorrectly gemmed and broke. Hence the low level gems in my
legs
belt. I need moneyz. I also should've spent frost emblems on t10. Shame on me for doing this stuff when I was tired.)
*edit - shows how tired I was... cheap gems are in the belt

Man, your belt hurts my feelings! Well grats on your staff drop, I still haven't seen that thing drop yet. And I think when you said new legs you meant belt?

Uh... melee max range is pretty close to hunter minimum range. Tell the melee to stop standing in the middle of the hit box. Otherwise, they can always move a bit to kill the spike.

Melee range is what? 3 yards? Hunters min range is 5 yards. If melee isn't standing in the middle of the hit box this should have minimal effect, they just need to turn around and take a step.
So, since we're on the hunter forums, we can blame melee for standing in the wrong place, and not the hunter!
I just wish there was an easy way to add "tard" to every other class' name.
Ret-tardin, Tardlock, Rotard (rogue, or rouge as they commonly refer to themselves, go back to school...). I kinda like Rotard.
The other classes would just be something like Wartard or Prietard or something, but it doesn't roll off the tongue as well as huntard. I run into a bunch of Drutards and Rotards who always pull aggro and die. I wish that would catch on.
