Horde Getting too much?

Am I the only one who thinks that the horde are taking over everthing and the alliance are disappearing?
EX:
1. Ashenvale is being taken over by horde
2. In darkshore, auberdine is destroyed and horde is setting camps in the southern parts.
3. Southshore is destroyed and Hillsbrad is horde controlled.
Orgrimmar and UC are also redone
Anyone else think the same as me?

Yes.
But I'll look past my bias here...
Alliance get half of the Barrens, part of the Blasted Lands (apparently there will be a Worgen zone there), and IIRC even though Auberdine is being destroyed they are adding a new city for Alliance in Ashenvale.

Astranaar is under attack by the Horde, but we still have control of it. Auberdine is moved north, and there is a Horde Outpost appearing in southern Darkshore, probably on the border of Ashenvale. When the Barren's splits in two, the Alliance burns down Camp Taurjo and conquers the southern Barrens(which means we still get the dead side). Western Plaguelands is being fought over by both Horde and Alliance; the Forsaken from the west, and the Humans and Dwarves from the south. As said, we get the regrowing parts of the Blasted Lands for our new Worgen allies.
At the moment, yes, more information has been released about the Horde then the Alliance, but that's because of the changing of the Warchief.

almost correct in everything exept the last part.
they don't get a new town in ashenvale, they get a new one in darkshore, just further up north as auberdine is nothing more than a bunch of ruins.
also to the OP; yes Org and UC are getting redone, but so are Stormwind and Darnassus so stop with the bias right there.
if you had even a fraction of horde love, you would know how bad it feels to have our greatest leaders removed.
Thrall is no longer leading the orcs, and Cairne is no longer leading the tauren, that alone discompensates any meager lands we may recieve, specially since the replacement of thrall is one of the most hated characters in wow.
so stop acting like a biased moron.......
the alliance still has their leaders intact, they gain new lands to compensate the ones they lose, their reputation as heroes remains intact (while our reputation of honorable warriors got boned by the wrathgate and broken front) they get the coolest looking race out of the 2 new ones, and more.

Ah yes, typo =P Thanks for pointing that out.

Although we don't know for sure why Cairne is leaving or who is replacing him. We might find the son is as good as the father.

Let's not forget that the horde is also getting Azshara, for the goblins, rather then making a new zone for them like they did for the BE, draenei, worgen...
Of course, Kezan and the Lost Isles clearly aren't the equal to Greymane City and Gilneas.
Azshara will be a 15-20 leveling zone for Horde characters but a distinct dropping off point for Goblin players.
We're not sure if we have Gilneas after the starting zone or not, and Greymane city is becoming a BG as well.

You start in Greymane City for 1-5, you level in Gilneas for 5-15. The same way Goblins level in Undermine 1-5 and level in the Lost Isles for 5-15.
Um, what? Source please?

you think we're getting to much do you?
well lets review shall we. Alliance take a large area of the barrens. They probably take an even larger area of desolace. They probably will take a portion of silverpine forest. And more then likely the horde will lose grom'gol when stranglethorns hit.
Aside from the fact the horde gets a nobody tauren leader replacing Cairne, who no one even knew existed before, and one of the best characters in warcraft lore (Thrall) being replaced by the turd of grom as leader.

Wait, we know who's replacing Cairne now?

And this is pure speculation. I know for a fact Alliance is losing South Shore, but I'm not sure if we're gaining somewhere else in STV besdes the rebel camp. /shrug

1. The Horde are expanding further into Ashenvale, that does not mean the Alliance is driven out. In fact I will be astounded if the Night Elves are absent from the zone given it's nature.
2. Sure, but it's still the Night Elf 10-20 zone. Meaning the overall Night Elf presence will remain strong in spite of the loss of Auberdine. What Horde presence exists will be limited to the targets of various Night Elf quests.
3. True. Although to be honest the Alliance are already strongly favored in that particular level bracket (currently the Horde has zero presence in Wetlands, and only a tiny presence in Duskwood), so things are really just being evened out.
And Stormwind is getting a completely new district, all cities will probably change to some degree.
The bottom line is that we simply haven't seen enough to declare that one faction is favored over the other. The first few things we heard did seem to favor the Horde, but they represent only a tiny fraction of total changes.

Silverpine is remaining as the Horde, there are no Gilneans taking places in it. As far as they've said, Alliance isn't making a play into Desolace. I doubt Horde will lose Grom'gol, as the Horde presence in the jungle is suppose to be increased.
And yeah, it's Baine taking over for Carine, whatever happens to him.

I'm going to go ahead and wait until the open Beta is in full force and we have a lot more information before weighing in on this.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Wait, what about that Nelf/dranei outpost in North/east ashenvale ( the one almoust near the world boss are). I could have swonr i read somewhere that they had finished building it by the time Cata hits.
Edit: The name is forset song.
