i'm usually quick to except retconned lore if it makes some sense. for example the supposed Elune is a naaru named E'lune.... took a while to get but after reading the long winded article about it I found it pretty cool.
/FACEPALM! That was a tin-foil hat edition, as in, pure speculation on the part of the wow.com KYL poster....
I understand it was all speculation and such but then was this screenshot
http://greyshades.files.wordpress.com/2010/05/elune.jpg
used in the article that supposedly came from the Alpha just some private server bologna?
if so then i'm sry
Photo Shop... they said that in the article.....

urg, why was this completely absurd thread ressurected?
t's a completely stupid theory that night elves descend from worgens, considering that worgens are a transformation, people worship a god-animal, they turn to said animal (in the same way that druids turn to bears, ravens, lions, walrus, ect)
worgens are simply night elven druids who took the transformation part too far, remained in their wolf mode so long they lost all touch with their own minds (sort of what happened to the druids of the claw and talon on War3) and that's about it.
also ElementalFury, yhea :P Death's redemption is Lolotea's work.

For those who rezzed this and are addressing the OP... he's never going to respond as he get's auto bans every time he makes a new account, due to his habit of attacking and insulting all other posters, even if they agree with him.
And yeah this thread didn't need a necro.

Worgen were originally night elf druids known as Druids of the Scythe who worshiped the wolf ancient goldrinn. They lost themselves in the transformation and became feral and eventually locked away and then later being summoned by Arugal. So the night elves have a connection to the worgen but not what the OP was saying lol. And everyone should know by now what I have to say about
that
in regards to fanbase inconsistency.

I think there is either Cult of the Damned, a zombie virus or a nation of Hades worshipers hanging around.
