Mute:
3 : remaining silent, undiscovered, or
unrecognized
He was using it in an often unused context. Learn your language. Reading comprehension is one of the hardest parts of the english language. While mute isn't the best word for what he wrote, he wrote it right.
Reguardless, the trinket only affects the start of the fight. If it's long enough to pop berserk again, the advice still stands.
If you want to min/max your dps, don't overwrite TF with berserk.
If you don't care, do w/e.
1 in 6 TF's losing it's buff isn't the end of the world, but practicing proper use of cooldowns will give you a little bit of an edge.
Lets leave it at that. I'm tired of argueing in circles with morons.

Reguardless,
Lulz?
P.S. English is not my mother tongue either ;-) How am I doing so far?
Edit: I read your post again, Lightrain, and I'm curious:
the trinket only affects the start of the fight.
What do you mean by this? No trinket has been mentionned as far as I can see (but then again, I went slightly tl;dr). I also don't know of any trinket that only affects the start of a fight. Except Nevermelting Crystal for an afflock ...

It's interesting to come across this now because every other cat "guide" I've read everywhere else emphasizes popping TF before berserk if you need the energy. It seems like the obvious thing to do, but crunching numbers, especially in WoW, isn't something people think of. ("Omigod, that crap they taught us in high school makes us pro at WoW? =O")
I've also come to the conclusion that I can compare Foleynuts to Dr. House. Knowledgeable and has expertise...but a complete asshat about it all. >_<

The global cooldown is generally 1.5 seconds for all classes except rogues, Cat Form druids, and death knights in Unholy Presence, whose abilities are mostly one second global cooldown.
As far as i know. 1 second is the gcd cap. It cant go any lower.
FF in bear form is also a 1 second gcd :P
1 second is the lowest the gcd can go you are correct.

Actually it does, Rejuv with glyph ticks faster with haste, ie during Heroism, making the resto Druid skill revitalize proc more energy :)

Why bring up trees in a kitty discussion? He clearly mentionned energy, and trees have no business with that unless in pvp o_O
energy =/= rejuv ticks
(dur?)
