: Undeath is awsome! Just look at me! I'm undead, and I'm awsome! What more proof do you need?

Skreel:
Undead has become my blessing and curse. Without my death, I never would have discovered the Shadow. I never would have met many of those I consider my friends. And yet, undeath has torn a rift between us and our former comrades who still walk among the living. Were it not for undeath, my Janice would still living.
I do not deny that this state has its blessings, but they did not come without a price.
Was the reward worth the cost? Do I wish things had not happened the way they did?
I cannot say. Had things had not happened as they did, many things would be different. Not even I can say whether they would have been for the better.

Kalistra Sunstorm:
Oh you all are a bunch of whiners! Undeath is incredible! You are invincible as long as you have a good reanimator around or possess necromatic powers. Even that little allergy to the Light can be gotten around; that's why you employ lots and lots of living fodder to take the hits for you while you get close to the Light user, clamp your hands around his head and suck out his soul through his mouth while preforming lots of pain and suffering to his body....../shudders
What was I talking about again?

Well hold still and I can rid you of that pesky problem. /hands on fire with necromatic energy

Dag'rema:
Ha! Your definition of "pain and suffering" is pathetic. "Magic this, magic that," and then you slap them around or give them a punch. That human girl you tortured? Oh yeah, she must've taken so much effort to break. I bet you really had to break out all your tools for that one. And me? Well... I barely felt a thing until you brought up my mother. The only reason that worked is because her tortures were several orders of magnitude worse than yours. No, for a good torturing, I say skip the magic, and move right to the knives and the needles and the clamps. I like to deal with the eyes first. Without sight their sense of touch--and thus pain--is greatly amplified.
But on the topic of undeath... I was undead for a little while. I didn't much like it. I may be a warlock, but I still like to look good. And everything was so mechanical. It felt like I was controlling a puppet, rather than my own body.

*The death knight looks up, mouths words as if reading, and then turns to Kalistra*
I think I love you. *To Dag'rema* You can be undead and still look good! Take me for example *Flexes*

Kalistra Sunstorm:
*mockingly* Ooo, look at me, I'm Dag'rema, and I got killed by a bunch of idiots! Hehehe, hush your yapping little dog; what I did to that girl stays in her mind, and will let me find her again when I want her. My torture must have been enough if it sent your sad weak little mind back to the days of your oh so happy childhood. By the way, your memories were very tasty.
Ew, back off bone bag before I rip off your head, put it on a spike, and leave you as my door knocker for the rest of your unnatural unlife.

: Ummm.... back on topic: had you the chance, Dag'rema, would you ever word with Kalistra (again)?

Dag'rema:
Wor
k
with her again? I might've, had she not turned against me and returned to serving the Destroyer. That certainly worked out well, didn't it Kali? It totally didn't end up in your brother being killed, you getting raped to death by a dog, and the Destroyer getting destroyed, hmm?
At least
I
had some dignity when I died.

Eh, crying and covered in blood is a better deal than doggy's sex slave, if you ask me. And the word 'crime' is amusing. Crime requires justice to exist, and justice is a fallacy.
As for the staff? I'm sure my loyal apprentice will get it back. That stupid lizard wouldn't know the first thing about using it.

: Surely, though, justice has to exist to provide balance to those deeds of evil, or are you suggesting that neither good or evil exists and all things are simply neutral. If that is the case, than can one person truely be more powerful than another? As having power greater than someone else would imply a system of positives and negatives, which, according to your "there is no justice" theory does not exist. And so are you, Dag'rema, just as powerful as any other mortal?

Dag'rema:
The universe is inherently unjust. "Bad" things happen to "good" people and vica versa. There is no objective morality. They're just labels put on things by mortals to make them feel better. There is one constant that defines everything in the universe, and that is that everything dies. From the smallest insect to the great Sargeras himself, to the particles that make up your being. Even the universe itself will die someday. That's the only truth. It's not just, but it's true.
We're just trying to make it come sooner.

: But if the universe is inheritantly unjust, then its opposite must exist: something just and, by extent, "just"ice.

: Dag'rema got what she deserved for sticking to the Legion. Everyone of the legionnaires bites the dust sooner than later, haven't you lot noticed that? Ditto for the Old God worshipers - in fact, when ragtag bunches of misfits™ start bothering you, it's a good sign you might want to reconsider your life/undead-style.
And undeath sucks. It took me more than half a century to realize it, but now I know that its drawbacks outweigh its advantages. Hell, I'd give up fel and necromancy any time to be alive again.
Me
: *cough* which is exactly what are you planning to achieve, right? *cough*

Dag'rema:
Says who?
What law dictates that everything in existence must have an opposite? Mortals like to divide things into black and white, hot and cold, up and down, day and night... But these are just mortal perceptions. Day and night are simply caused by which way the planet is facing. Hot and cold are just on either side of a median temperature comfortable for mortals. Up and down are relative.
All of the 'opposites' you perceive are mere illusions. Very few true opposites exist. And, like opposites, justice is also an illusion. Who defines justice? Elune? Her power does not even reach across the whole of Azeroth, much less across the void of space. The Titans? They are not gods. Their power is also finite, and their judgment imperfect. Who are they to enforce justice? The Light? The Light is a property of mortals. The Naaru can die. The draenei can die.
There is no justice. Death is the great and only equalizer.
