Jessara Gaunt, Leera Fenwick
Fenris Isle
"Yes, I suppose so..." Leera agreed and got up on her feet, Jessara doing the same. Leera put one hand around Jessara's wrist and the other one on her chest beneath the windpipe, trying to sense any residual magic. "Just a touch..." she muttered, "It feels strange, but it's so little I wouldn't worry" she said with a smile.
Jessara thought of her earlier feelings but decided not to say anything yet. "Let's get some air" she said happily, nudging Hascakkin (who still held her hand lightly) to move up the stairs.

Hascakkin grinned and gladly followed Jessara, humming under his nose. When the two were already at the exit he theatrically slapped his forehead and told Leera - "I hope you will manage to make use of my special brew. Oh, and I suppose Arros would want to know that Jessie is up." - he laughed and ran out of the keep before she could answer.
"So, is there anything you would want to do now, charming?" - he asked Jessara when the keep was about ten yards away.

"He'd want to know she is up if he knew she was down in the first place..." she thought out loud even though they had left her alone, then she slowly began scaling the stairs. "I wonder where he is..." she thought, thinking of possible places as she walked.

"Oh, I don't know... Just have some air, and then something to eat. Then I guess there are a thousand things to do" she said and laughed. "What happened to the forsaken?"

Fenris Isle
"Your friend blew him up to small pieces." - Hascakkin laughed. - "Now, since that bastard interrupted our nice little swim, I say we finally carry on with it." - he grabbed Jessara and sat her on his shoulder. - "And I won't accept any objections." - he laughed again, heading to the northern part of the isle, since it was the least spyable one from above, conceived by the looming shadow of Fenris Keep.

Jessara shrieked jokingly. "What happened to the keep?" she asked when she saw the collapsed roof. "You did that, didn't you?" she said and pointed.

"Hey, I am a warlock, after all. What would you expect me to do, re-decorate the keep with shiny pink armaments?" - joked Hascakkin. - "Besides, there's plenty of place underground, this ravaged facade will serve as a decoy."
They finally reached the shore and the warlock gently put Jessara down. - "Shall I turn around while you undress?" - he asked, making sly hope in his voice sound as obvious as possible.

"Don't peek" Jessara replied with a giggle, but didn't wait for Hascakkin to do as he had suggested. She quickly pulled her robes over her head and put it down neatly on the ground along with her belt and satchels. Once again she waded out in the water, going ankle-deep at first. "Feels much colder now!"

"Hey, we two are so hot we could make the whole lake boil!" - laughed Hascakkin. He quickly took off his robe, leaving him bare-chested. The warlock slowly came up to Jessara, then suddenly grabbed her and made a neat somersault further in the lake. - "Move and move and don't you ever stop!" - he grinned, still holding her, when the two were thoroughly soaked and the shore was twenty yards away.

Jessara Gaunt
Lordamere Lake
"Don't let go" Jessara laughed, then quickly added "I'm not a very good swimmer."
A sunbeam broke through the cloudy skies, lighting up her pale face and making her wet hair shimmer. She closed her eyes for a moment and smiled towards the light.

"Worry not, I've got enough awesomeness and skill inside just for the two of us." - chuckled Hascakkin. He partially morphed, letting out his wings and now literally lying on the water, urging Jessara to climb on his chest. - "You know, you look even prettier from this point of view." - he said when the rising sun lit up her hair, causing them to shine like a halo.

Jessara Gaunt
Lordamere Lake
The heavy clouds regained the upper hand on the sun, blocking out the light. The day turned dark and a light rain began falling.
"Oh, look what you did!" Jessara said, pretending to be sad. She removed a tuft of hair from her face with her free hand and gazed down into the depths of the clear water.

"Sun's modest, doesn't like spying." - grinned Hascakkin, then lifted his head slightly so that his lips would meet hers.
Meanwhile, at the keep, a Rothide patrol noticed two strangers landing in a distance. Without hesitation, they hurried back to the keep.
"My lady!" - barked their leader upon finding Leera - quite sentient for an undead gnoll. - "Intruders! Suggest hiding! Biding our time. Till Big Warlock returns."
Back at the lake, Hascakkin had absolutely no wish to be anywhere else.

Jessara Gaunt
Lordamere Lake
For the first time since they met, Jessara mind didn't him kissing her at all. Their lips met and for a moment everything in the world was washed away. The clouds, the rain, the chilling water... it all seemed so distant.
Leera Fenwick
Fenris Isle
Leera left the lab and headed to one of the keep's towers. She ran up the spiral staircase, panting heavily when she came to the top. She looked up at the sky, but didn't see anything. She gazed out over the lake, and suddenly she spotted a dim light in the distance, in the direction of the Dawning Isles. "Now I really need to find Arros... quickly!" she thought, hurrying down the slippery stairs as fast as she could without risking losing foothold.

Krutos Stormwalker
Lordamere Lake Island
Krutos sat near their camp, under a big pine tree. He had noticed how Darrows behaviour had suddenly changed and he seemed more tense.
He set his totem opposite to himself, so that the symbol of the Earth Mother was facing him and let his mind sink deep into the Emerald Dream.
