Too bad that tomorrow I'll be off for one week (hence the long posts, as a prologue to fill the gap)
Good to see you nonetheless.

and then a question of my own: spirits or spiritbeasts, how they attack? i think they can't really do physical damage to a creature, but maybe "mangle" their soul or spirit and there by cousing mental or physical agony?
this time we really might need this. ideas?

My take on it would be that the attacks pass right through, but cause some sort of burn. Probably damage to the nerves. In effect, pain and stun. If you've watched SG-1, with the holographic knights, you'd know exactly what I mean.

not seen it, but youtube can fill that blank
E: can you remember what was the name of the episode?

Avalon Part II
... right after "A HOLOGRAM?"

Got it. So basically those kind of attacks can kill you if they hit the heart or brains. Interesting.
Thanks

That's just how I imagine it, remember that... Also, with a presumably ethereal attacker, defense would be nearly impossible, except actually evading the attacks. Same with counterattacking. This is going to be interesting!
I guess the damage source would have to be limited to claws and fangs for the sake of balance, not just "any part that touches you gonna kill you".

That is also true, maybe materiaizing the spirit a bit more could do the trick. I'll have to consider this carefully.

To anyone wondering why there was no posted battle;
It was too long when I drafted it in Word. I cut it down to fit the limit, but it felt lacking. And now it just seemed easier to take the whole "use your imagination" route.
Basically, Locronos didn't like his students relying too heavily on either magic or melee and decides to make them march back as punishment.
And yes, Ald can do as he wishes with the bodies.

As Locnoros has some samples of the plague, it might not be necessary for Darrow and Krutos to go to UC but still it might be fun

I was planning on a fight soon anyway. So if we want the Blight could make an exit; stage used.

@Persen
I've got an idea considering the Defilers - they will obey Hascakkin and to some extent Jessara because she now has small amount of his blood inside him. And each time someone new who was alive is infested, Hascakkin will feel like he is refreshed and empowered, and so will Jessara, although at much lower scale.
Any objections?

No objections at all!

How would you guys define a verdant sphere? Is it a ball of pure energy or more like a solid ie. glass ball that contains the energy? (wowwiki doesn't really say anything about it)
Post by
Persen
On most images of Kael they have a seemingly solid core and are surrounded by green flames.

Atik, mind if I use some of your men to help with the elves?
