South Africa tied (nearly lost 15 bucks on that one... I am ashamed to have bet against them) and Drogba is back in play.
Things are looking up for me.
I agree with your predictions.
Rooting for Argentina out of those.

I'm about the same as the host in team preferences. I don't understand FIFA scoring, but I'm glad South Africa tied. Hooray for Shabalala (the only scoring player for South Africa)!

Tie is one point, win is three, lose is zero.

Is the world cup even watched in America?
Yeah, it's the only time most of the country cares about soccer. It's REALLY big here, though.
I personally like both England and the US, so the game will be bittersweet for me; one has to win, but one has to lose. England will probably take it, heh.
This is soccer/football (read whichever word applies in your locale)! It does not have to be one wins, one loses, there's always a chance at a tie. :)
I'm an American, I'm pulling for our team of course, but I'm also realistic and know that they probably won't make it far. Once our guys are out, I'll be backing the Socceroos. Because I love that they call themselves Socceroos. :D

USA scored a wussy goal, but a goal nonetheless.

That was a solid kick by Dempsey, and it should have been an easy save by Green. Lucky goal? Unbelievably. Wussy goal? Not so much. :)
