I tend to think that everyone fails sometimes. And it is NOT so serious. What is your Greatest WoW Failure Moment? :-)

^^ Because I don´t raid, mine isn´t as wonderful as yours, Evonath!
Well anyhow, I was doing Old Kingdom Heroic with my Alt DK DPS. I kinda had a look that one Crypt Fiend was indeed engaged in battle. So I kinda thought that I should engage the Fiend. I ended up pulling a whole group of mobs and wiping the whole party.
What followed of course: "You #$%^ing NOOB!" :D

My greatest (that I remember) failure was back in the days of Zulgurub.
I was playing with my hunter and was my first raiding experience.
Whe where facing the cat boss (I think). The raid leader said - "Pull !", so I did.......
Then I learned that pull was for tanks (most of the time)
It was not a good sight to see all forty of us going down by my mistake....

allow me to direct you to a few topics that are already covering this subject.
This one
This one
which is quite good
In the world there has been a thread for everything. I don´t care. This is a new thread. :)

There is really no reason to make another topic on something that has been covered extensively. Just put your post in one of the linked topics and stop crowding wowhead with useless topics.
I don´t agree with you. There is no point in demanding people to search the whole database before they could post. Rather have ideas and thoughts and posts flow freely, mate! :)

A - You may think so, but if the mods think otherwise they will lock your thread. Just as an FYI.
B - I've wiped in instances with fear a few times because I forgot where I put my WotF even though my mouse was right over it for a few seconds.
A - Then they shall lock the thread. It is not that I am spamming or anything. I understand that there is no point in creating multiple threads concerning a game mechanism, for example, but this is rather different. This is no particularly useful info, this is opinions and having fun.
B - I´m enjoying the thread!

Mine was just yesterday.
I've been away from wow for 2-3 months now and just recently came back to brush up my skills before cataclysm. So I hop on my Mage alt instead of a tank or healer and proceed to queue for a random heroic.
After 12minutes I finally get a group (shoulda just played my warrior). We proceed to buff up and get ready to start but there is one player afk.
The healer yells "screw waiting, tank pull gogogo". I immediately jump up, throw a skull on a target mash my charge hotkey... Not remembering that I am in fact the Mage not the tank and that charge is in fact blink... /facepalm
The story has a happy ending though, the tank was actually afk and never came back. Luckly one of the guys was from my server so I hopped on my warrior and proceeded to tank the rest of the instance, receiving only a few cracks at my expense. "ok bish, sheep that mob... Oh right you're not a Mage"

actually it isnt that hard to find the topic, it was on the first page. If you put your opinion into a thread that has multiple pages then you actually will allow people to have more fun because more people will read it. Why read a thread that only has a few replies when you can read the same thread under a different name and see many other fun stories as well? If, This is no particularly useful info, this is opinions and having fun. then make it fun by putting it in a place where everyone is already reading similar stories. Its more fun that way.
My apologies for not noticing that there was a similar thread. Now lets get on with it! What has been YOUR failure moment? :)

Wiping on Culling of Stratholme (H)! Twice! The first one was on one of the trash waves. Embarrassment or what?
