You're still attempting to justify wholesale slaughter of millions of
civilians
in a war environment. You're still failing pretty hard.
"A criminal is cornered by police officers and asked to come quitely, but instead he starts firing at them
so the police go kill his family
."
Fixed.

Japan had no reason to continue WWll.
That is a very one-sided statement.
Just because you don't value honor until death, doesn't mean they were wrong to hold to that.

Not to mention that the Japanese conflict had precious little to do with the German conflict, other than the fact that the British were calling all their resources from South-East Asia.

A mere 240,000 people died in the bombings
The deaths of 9/11 were a 'mere' 2,995. To put that into context, that's just over 1% of the casualties of the atomic bombings.

I'm sorry Quick, but putting a 'mere' when almost 250 thousand people died..... that's callous; yes dropping the bombs stopped the start of a large scale Japanese and America war, but it was done by the largest terror weapon in existence on our planet. They 'scared' the Japanese into stopping the war, and were more then likely seen the exact same way as the Tailban were by Americans after 9/11.
But hey, like I said, I'm jaded about the States and what they did during World War 1 and 2, so yeah, take from my comments what you will.

Not all of them are 'brainwashed'; terrorist is a blanket term now a days after all. If you go against a major power, your seen as a terrorist.

It is very clear to see I was saying it was mere in relation to the tens of millions that would of died otherwise not mere compared to 3000 people dieing >.>
First of all, that's a nice big number to just pull out of your ass.
Secondly, those are people who are willing to die. If you're fighting in a war, you've really got no reason to complain if your head gets blown off. It's killing innocents that's the problem.
I mean, it's like two guys who are both fighting over the same woman, and have guns to each other's heads. In order to hopefully save them both, you kill the woman. Yes, it's sad that they both might die, but they got themselves into it, they should be the ones to suffer the consequences, not the innocent woman.

I did not just pull the number out of the air it is a recognized fact
...
...
I think you're fuzzy on what a fact is.
No its more like just shooting the woman in the foot and the other man says ok I'll leave.
What part of
a quarter of a million people
dead
don't you understand?

I think he is using the woman as an analogy to Japan the bombing of Hiroshima could be seen as what happened compared to the possibility of what would happen if they didn't bomb it
In other words:
Woman = Japan
Bombing = shot in the foot
War keeps going = Woman dies
That makes absolutely no sense.
Do I really have to spell these things out?
Two people might die, so we kill 1 innocent in order to perhaps prevent it.
It's just a scaled down version of of people might die, so we kill in order to perhaps prevent it.
Shooting someone in the foot has no connection to killing people.

Also people seem to forget this was not the first bombing of japan on a fire bomb raid on Tokyo alone 240000 people died and 72 citys were fire bombed as well,
In the british bombing of the German city of Dresden 40000 people died.
9 million civilians in China died from the japaneise invasion.
Germany suffered 2 million civilian deaths as a result of the Allied invasion.
The Hiroshima and Nagisaki bombings was not the worse tragedy of World War II and it seems to me if America had carpet bombed the citys with the conventional weapons then people would not of cared today.
It's been done, therefore it's okay?
Okay. Let's kill more Jews!
