I'll be honest about this one... I won't try farming one considering the droprate. :-P Doubt they'll remove it though. At least some "rare" items seem to have upped droprates, Deviate Delight recipe drops a lot on beta.
@rankorr: Yes, non-DKs can fly to Acherus on beta atm.
@linkj30: Hard to say for sure... I'll say a few I can think of.
Alliance pretty much rule the Southern Barrens (Horde still have quest hubs and there's a neutral cenarion one, mind you) since they've destroyed Camp Taurajo and built a big fortress on another place in the zone. Other way around in Ashenvale, Horde destroyed one camp (Silverwing something IIRC?) and have a quest hub at the spot, and another one if not both of the Night Elf camps are on fire.
Horde have a bigger presence in Blasted Lands now with a Garrosh-style fortress and a Reliquary (new Blood Elf/Forsaken treasurehunter faction) questhub, Allies still have Nethergarde and one new Gilnean-themed questhub though.
Horde (Forsaken) also manage to win the battle of Andorhal in Western Plaguelands.

Hey, can you give us all the information you can find on the Shatterspear genocide in Darkshore by the Night Elves?
At least tell us the names of the quests? The Shatterspears were my favorite tribe, and now I know very little about the circumstances of their getting their asses kicked... :(

Uh, all I know is that the "Dancing troll village" is under attack by night elves and works as a quest hub for the alliance. Will have to get back to that one. :-S

and they want to kill them all...
What I'm wondering is what exactly the Shatterspear side of the story is. All I know right now is that Garrosh was keeping troops in their lands, and that the Night Elves then came in and destroyed the whole village.
But someone said that Garrosh ordered the Shatterspears to exterminate all the Auberdine survivors and take Darkshore, which doesn't make sense, since the Shatterspears have next to no military power, and Garrosh wouldn't order an extermination of any town if he throws one of his own Generals off a cliff for the same action.
And then there's the "leader of the Shatterspears,"
Jor'kil the Soulripper.
That's not a very nice name... And what happened to Una Ji'ro being chieftain?
Basically what I want to know is: Did Blizzard retcon the Shatterspears from happy-go-lucky dancing tribe into another generic evil troll tribe?

This was actually asked in another thread (but not answered). Is Garrosh still present in Outland and Northrend?
I responded in that thread as well, but just to make sure I went to Garadar and Garrosh is indeed still there. (using his old model)
Can't say for sure if he's still in Northrend but I'm 99% sure he is... Garrosh being around in Northrend makes sense from a timeline point of view but the whole Garadar chain involving him will probably be removed, or maybe they'll just replace him (in the chain) with a previously unknown NPC like they did with Rexxar when TBC came out.
He's still in Borean Tundra using the old model as well.

will tier armor look different depending on race? b/c having say tier 11 or 12 armor for a paladin wouldnt look right if it was worn by both blood elves and taurens
Probably it won't, there is no indications they will do so.

says no.
Can't see why pally sets would look bad on a Tauren... Judgement looks great and the "banana" Lawbringer set has always looked pretty silly on every race. :-)

No new mounts so far... Not even worgen and goblin ones are in yet. Well, except for the seahorse from a Vashj'ir quest.
So far we know there'll be a camel mount (probably related to the friendly Tol'vir faction in Uldum but that's just my guess) and a skeletal raptor from archaeology.

I've been watching TotalBiscuit's videos on Youtube for the Cataclysm beta. I've watched most of them except for the worgen starting area videos, as that is one of the
only
things I refuse to spoiler myself on - I even mute TB's videos if he talks about it.
With this in mind (so as few spoilers as possible), can someone explain the stylin' top hat I've seen some worgen characters wearing? Because seriously, if it's a starter item or a quest reward early on or something I am going to be so happy.

Worgen get it from one of their starting area quests, level ~8 if I recall correctly. There will also be a tailor-made hat that looks the same. :-)

I have a question regarding dungeon quests.
Read on Wowhead today about Scarlet Monastery being updated, with quest givers inside the entrance to the instance, and I also hear the same for Dire Maul East.
With Ragefire Chasm for example, you get quests from Thunder Bluff, Undercity and Orgrimmar. That is quite a bit of travelling for a low level character.
Have Blizzard made these changes to all or some existing dungeons? And have they implemented quest givers inside the new dungeons, or do you also collect them while questing in zones as usual?
Garenzo, I also want to thank you. You have been very instrumental in supplying us Cata info :)

Though I don't much about other instances, I checked out RFC and there are quest givers at the entrance so I would assume the same change is happening with other dungeons. (Oh dear god .-. imagine BRD)

You're assuming BRD is still there.
It is in the beta, as well as quest givers at the start. The few old world instances i've checked out all do have quest givers at the start
