Hey guys i have a question
In cataclysm do you still need a level 55 or higher character to create a death knight?
Yup.

Anyone knows if the new holy paladin mastery (absorb) stacks with itself?
Would be nice if someone explained how it actually works.

Worgen can't customize anything except skin colors on beta at the moment, so yes - I think so. Ever since the new "models" were released that was the case.
Man, captchas are hell when you're drunk...
As of the latest build you can customize them again, and all their faces look about equally feral now. Some good news are that you can fully customize human form separately now.

is there a quest chain in beta where you try too turn the stone statue king magni bronzebeard back too a dwarf?

Sorry to say but I think he's a goner. Doubt they added the council just to bring him back again. (I'll check if I get the time though)
By the way: Another worgen customization thing... Worgen human form has been changed to be "half-Worgen". Fur on everything other than the head... Wouldn't be surprised if this is a placeholder. There's a really freaky-looking
Worgen-human hybrid
face though... O.O

Fire Mages (all mages) have the tier 1 Fire talent which gives mana back from crits... that's one. :-) Probably going to be a lot more useful in Cata.

Related to an earlier question on flight paths/points, obviously post-Cataclysm the world has been torn up and settlements moved or removed entirely. Do we need to refind the flight points again in order to fly down there? The example I had in my head is for the flight to Un'Goro Crater for the alliance, I seem to remember someone saying that their refuge in Un'Goro had been taken over by something (hazy on the details :p) but there was another, so do we need to head down there manually and rediscover it?
Stupid question I am sure, thanks! :-D

chances are.
A: if the settlement is in the same location as before (such as the crossroads, or freewind post or astranaar) you will not have to rediscover it.
B: if the settlement has been moved or destroyed (such as taurajo, or southshore) and a new one was added, u're gonna have to find that one by hand.
not that it matters, since u can now fly on azeroth thus re-gaining all the flight paths being quite easy, plu there's a new exploring achievement called "assess the damage" wich involves re-exploring all the zones to see the damage done by the cataclysm, since it's an easy achievement, I bet most will do it on launch, thus giving you the chance to grab all the new flight paths on the way.

Another question: Is there any sign of a Kvaldir presence in Vash'jir?
Yes. This is known to me, even though I'm not on beta. There are Kvaldir in Vash'jir.

I am assuming that the map changes take effect for ALL characters... even for those players who don't have any level 80 characters?
Is the "Cataclysm" world experienced even if you choose to NOT get the expansion?
yup, the cataclysm is happening, it doesn't matter if u buy the expantion or not, it's the patch 4.0 wich will break the world, having the expantion simply unlocks worgens, goblins, the new zones (uldum, twilight highlands, vashj'ir, hyjal, deepholm, tol'barad) the new level range (81-85) and new dungeons.
but the actual cataclysmic shattering of azeroth happens regardless of wheter u got the xpac or not.
Is anybody else upset about the world completely changing for those who haven't experienced the whole old world?
no, and quite honestly, why would anyone?
the old world SUCKS, majorly, there's about 2k quests in the old world, and barely 100 or less are actually fun or memorable, it's gonna be sad to see those quests go but it's gonna be a JOY to see the other 1900 HORRIBLE quest DIE IN HELL!
the WORST part of playing wow is the levels from 1 to 58, because the vanilla quests had no structure, no order, had terrible rewards, were boring and generic, were tedious and grindy, were also quite time-consuming and in many cases, just NOT fun.
plus having the old world go away makes WoW do something that no other MMO has done before: Move the story foward.
most MMO's u play are "Static" the actual status quo never changes, play Lineage II 3 years ago, and the starting zone of the humans had a specific set of quest, play Lineage II 5 years later and the human starting zone STILL has the exact same story, exact same quests, exact same experience.
Cataclysm will do something without precedents in the history of online games, it will move the story to the next chapter, everything that happened in vainilla wow was the former chapter, if u experienced it: good for you, if you didn't...... well there's wowwiki for that.

Correction: There are *very* few Kvaldir left in Vashj'ir. There is a quest chain where you control the "Naga Battlemaiden " in a vision and get to see how the Kvaldir got killed off in Vashj'ir.

Yes, but I think they want to separate healing and DPS cloth by spirit/no spirit.

:P pure truth bro' quests like the ones on crossroads need to DIE IN HELL!.
"go hunt raptors, bring me 10 heads"
I go hunting, kill raptor, loot and...... no head....... wich is odd
90 kills later......
6 heads left...
how can ANYONE POSIBLY MISS THAT?
