Are the quests
An Injured Colleague
and
A Cautious Return
still available in Beta?
Just went there to check and no, they're gone. The areas where they (and the portals) used to be are used for class trainers now.

are the new bandages like in vanilla ? because since woltk it's a joke: they heal nothing. so i wonder if now they heal you a lot, like in vanilla.
The embersilk bandages heal 30k I've been told.
Q: What's your opinion on the Cho'gall/Nefarian & Onixya/Al'akir fights, if you have done them?
Haven't done them myself unfortunately, but there are vids of all of them available. Cho'gall and especially Al'akir fights look really fun IMO.

they are not a joke, it's just that the health pools got really inflated with the last tier of gear.
at the begining of WOTLK when everyone was in their green items, the average HP on all characters was of 16000k
and the bandages healed you for almost 6k, wich is nearly 50% of your HP. and it stayed that way till tier9 was readily avaliable with triumph emblems wich had everyone flaunting an average HP of 25k, and still of 25k the bandage no longer healed you 50% of your total health, but it did healed you for an average of 23% of your health, almost 1/4 if you like.
and then, with frost gear avaliable, and now JP being able to give t10 to everyone, average HP pools are of 32k, but the bandages didn't scaled.
Back in vainilla, it started with the same formula, Runecloth bandages healed for 1300, with the average HP of some people being 3k, again 50% of your hp (almost) but the main diference is that epic gear wasn't as easy to obtain back then, so not everyone was able to srugh off bandages like garbage.
Cataclysm will do the same again, with Bandages healing 30k, and average (DPS) HP pools being of 60k, again 50%. U'll see that by the time we're strolling arround on shiny tier 15 that 30k willl be a pathetic ammount.
Don't underestimate the bandages, they heal a lot, the problem is that our HP scales with progression, the bandages don't. I think that each major patch should add a new variety of bandage, farmeable by other materials that aren't cloth, but that are found in abundace on the newest raid.
Imagine if on patch 3.3 blizz added a bandage that healed for 15k, but the material to craft it can only be found inside ICC trash........

Do the Goblins have hairstyles exclusive to the barber shop, like how Orcs can get a spiked mohawk?

here's a good question, can you fly on quel'danas?
I was quite sad to see that u can't fly neither on the draenei nor the blood elf starting zone, the worst part would be if quel'danas is also both unchanged, and also a no-flight zone.

Probably not, as that's part of the Azeroth BC server heh.

Not yet, but think it's a safe bet that they will.

Now that beta is coming to an end and there has been plenty of time to actually play (and sort out the various QQ from reality) how are Prot Paladins looking for solo? I was reading that your much better off going as Ret now, and that would kinda put a damper on the whole thing for me considering I've always played as Prot.

Well, there's nothing questwise that any class is unable to solo (they scrapped groupquests in the new areas at least... there are some pretty difficult elite quests but def. soloable) except maybe if you're healing specced.
I think soloing old instances will be similar to as it is now... Prot should beat ret, or at least be close.

That's good to hear, I was worried my favorite spec was being pushed aside. As far as soloing old instances go though, do you think Prot Pallies will still be up there as a contender for being best at it? I tend to have my main solo toon do a ton of guild runs to help out our lowbies, so it never hurts to make sure in advance.
I still wake up screaming at night from the nightmares of running Sunken Temple four times in a row to try and get some random drop for a guildie T_T

Q: Is it true that Hypnotic dust is disenchanted from weapons and that Celestial essences are disenchanted from armors? And how is the quantity from disenchanting? still 2-7 dusts etc?

I'm trying to find the bow animation for female goblins. I've found a video of a male goblin auto-shooting, but as I'm planning on rolling a female goblin hunter I'd like to know she'll look like with the BoA bow.

I'm trying to find some answers to specific Flying questions - apologies if these have been asked and answered already.
What are the rules with flying around the capital cities? Is it OK for the friendly faction and does this cause major lag problems? And for the enemy faction, is there a forced dismount aura like in Dalaran, or are there hostile guards who use dismount attacks?
How are they handling the "open to the world" instanced areas? I'm thinking of places like Stratholme, Zul'Farrak, even Maraudon (where you can see open skies above the final areas around Theradras)...?
Thanks for any insights.

You can fly around in every city (even UC... can't fly in Silvermoon/Exodar though) at the moment, without any flying guards shooting you down or such. (all guards have been equipped with ranged weapons though, so you can get killed while flying)
Zul'farrak is fully open and empty when you haven't entered the instance, pretty sure it's the same deal with Stratholme. I've never heard or seen anything indicating part of Maraudon is an actual outdoors area... If it is, it doesn't seem to exist outside the instance.
